Great idea! But...$15.00? ridiculous. A buck maybe.

Eh ... as a completely paranoid individual, I would not trust it to stay on, and constantly be checking to see if it was still there. I'll stick to old fashioned pockets. Thanks.

Do they stick to skin? Because then I could fulfill my dream of walking around buck naked and still having a place to keep my wallet (other than between my asscheeks, which makes walking uncomfortable).

/more seriously, I would never, ever put anything of value in a stick-on pocket. How shiatty would it be to reach for your phone and realize it fell off god-knows-where earlier in the day.

Somebody's mom holds mine when we walk around naked.
With room for many more.

Who the hell uses the shirt pockets they've got, let alone wants more (and to spend $15 on them, to boot)?

Please, God, no. One of my students [high school] became obsessed with that joke for about a month. The last thing I need is for it to actually be possible.

The word "murse" at the end of the article just sent me through a string of profanity as my brain chewed through nouns I'm unfamiliar with and spit out that this was asshole for "man-purse" which even in itself angers me beyond what it reasonably should.

I was using a sticky vinyl pocket like this a decade ago, to put install information on computers and to carry around said information.

I think it's great that the people using these don't care what other people think about them.

I use the shirt pockets in my work shirts all the time. Left one gets my work cell phone and pens, right one gets my smokes and lighter. I wouldn't do that with my normal shirts though.

My dad used to tell me that all the time. "Don't worry what others think about you!"
Turned out, that was only as long as I thought and acted the same as him.

WTF is with this trend lately of making shirts without pockets, anyway? I usually wear button- up shirts, and I use the pocket to store my cash and small papers. I HATE buying a shirt, only to discover that it doesn't have a farking pocket the first time I go to wear it. It then gets relegated to the "shiat I wear only when I'm out of clean clothes" part of the closet.

As a woman, I say, "Bravo!" Too many clothes for women have no pockets. I would love to find a blazer that has an inside pocket of the kind in men's blazers. Shirts and pants for women often do not have pockets - supposedly to provide a better figure line. Of course, I wouldn't want pockets that look like those in the article, but I really like the idea of being able to add a pocket to the inside of a jacket or coat.

Only people who currently use a `murse` (or purse) would need a stick on pocket...

Can`t see the thing staying on and the first time it drops off will be the first time you put something in it you don`t want to lose. Item Total Fail.

Wait a year, you'll see them on Thinkgeek for $15 for a pack of 30 of them.

//I might try it then.

You could buy these in the 1970s -- and, strangely, they were less hideous, which is some kind of fashion inversion loop -- and they were also iron-on, in case you wanted to make them permanent.

Not saying it's a bad idea or complaining that it's "stolen" or whatever. But it's not new. Or all that amazing, to be honest.
