Fark Miami

2012-06-14 11:49:04 PM
Crap. That was a great comeback.

2012-06-14 11:49:06 PM
This is troubling. OKC needed tonight's game.

2012-06-14 11:49:08 PM
What a bunch of crap. We just got robbed of the greatest Finals comeback ever.

2012-06-14 11:49:10 PM
Okies be mooin.

2012-06-14 11:49:14 PM
Oh yeah. 100-96 Win.

Mac and cheese, mac mac and cheese.

2012-06-14 11:49:18 PM
Good game. Congrats Heat.

Looks to be an awesome series.

2012-06-14 11:49:28 PM
Well, that 4th quarter was a hell of a lot of fun.

2012-06-14 11:49:29 PM
OKC throws everything at the Heat, yet lose home court. Series over, crown the King!

2012-06-14 11:49:32 PM
Hell of a game!

2012-06-14 11:49:53 PM
Thanks DirecTV for losing the signal at the end of the game

2012-06-14 11:50:03 PM
Imagine if they didn't call that BS goaltend on OKC earlier in the game.

RepoManTSM: OKC throws everything at the Heat, yet lose home court. Series over, crown the King!

You start the game 18-2 and need a missed foul to hold on to a win after leading by 13 in the 4th. This series isn't over yet.

//Yeah, it is.

Langston: This is troubling. OKC needed tonight's game.

Here's why Miami might still be in trouble: Battier might not have 17 points the rest of the series, and Miami got nothing out of anyone else besides their Big 3. I think OKC gets one of the first two in Miami.

They would have lost by two?

@sportsguy33: Terrible no-call. Just terrible. I feel dirty.

Technically, my Heat in 5 is still in play.

/apparently game 2 is just always a controversial end for the heat with no-calls

Oh jeebus you're kidding.

Welcome to every game ever...

The Heat get average/above average games from the 3 superstars...then one other player on the roster does good. The end.

karmaceutical: Well that was a nice no-call to end the game on. Woot.

Can't believe they'd let that go considering the trash calls LeBron was getting all game.

2012-06-14 11:52:29 PM

TheJoe03: Nice no call refs! Jesus, they suck.

It did seem like the refs were making a lot more calls for the Heat early on in this game, and seemed to miss at least a couple big foul calls on the Heat at the end there, stuff they were calling all game long against the Thunder on the other end. Can't blame it all on the refs though.

2012-06-14 11:52:41 PM
Hey, at least we don't have to talk about LeBron being clutch at the end of the game. We can talk about how the refs screwed OKC.

2012-06-14 11:52:59 PM
at worst, its a make up call on the bullshiat charge on battier (collison gets that all the time and they call it against battier? really?)

anyway its a good no call, wade kept getting hit hard all game and collison/ibaka/perkins kept setting moving screens...so suck it long, and suck it hard

Zombie Hitler: pjlawrence81: Imagine if they didn't call that BS goaltend on OKC earlier in the game.

Then the game could be tied, instead of OKC being down by 2, and KD doesn't have to rush that last shot.

It wouldn't have been controversial if Oklahoma City would have stayed within, say, a dozen points for most of the first half. It's just one of those things. You can't give the Heat a free half quarter to do whatever they want.

I hope the Thunder fans don't biatch about the refs. After all, I'm rooting for your team thanks to my hate for Miami. The refs didn't lose you this game. Try showing up at tip off once in a while.

/Go Thunder

2012-06-14 11:53:59 PM
Weird game.

Thunder don't show up. Wade does show up. Bron perfect from the line. Battier on fire.

Two really fun game so far. Looking forward to Saturday. This series is far from over

2012-06-14 11:54:36 PM
Even Van Gundy saw the foul for what it was. That is pretty bad. The only thing I can think of is that the refs were caught off guard by the quick inbound, just like LeBron.

TheManofPA: Danny Crawford clutch again: Heat move to 15-4 in his games

Yep, he's incompetent at best.

A foul and a travel do make a big difference. Especially if they aren't called.

The Thunder played two bad quarters and still almost won. The Heat played a good game and almost lost. Now that home court has been lost this series is goin to get real interesting.

TheShavingofOccam123: A foul and a travel do make a big difference. Especially if they aren't called.

I mentioned it above, but no one seems to think that he traveled. Watch the replay, he moved one foot and dragged his pivot foot a good half a foot.

Right now, the refs are in their helicopter, congratulating themselves on a job well done.

Definitely definitely THIS

Of course not but guys like the two Crawfords shouldn't make games so much about them. This is the playoffs, so if you let the call on James go, then why 5 fouls on Durant. Danny maybe has the same vendetta against the Thunder he did against the Mavs (which he has been known to be proud of).

The game is Sunday? Great news. I have Mrs Highway's parent's anniversary party Saturday. The party is outside so no game.

Hah

I missed Howard screaming in Durant's ear on that three

True.

The crazy thing about the NBA is that I can't really think of many games this postseason that didn't have questionable officiating. Seems like they're always a topic.

After the first two Celtics games I thought they were old the rest of the series

Did he also force the Thunder to shoot like shiat and fall behind by 18 with just over two minutes left before halftime?

Biggest problem the NBA has. Won't ever be addressed as long as King Stern is in charge.

It looked to me like he had both feet off the ground in a sort of a two footed hop.

You know, if LeBron would stop letting the clock wind while settling for a stupid 3 with the shot clock winding down....he'd be a freaking superhero.

I read where you started contradicting yourself and threw in the disingenuous agreement at the beginning of the sentence with the thought that you could just point to that if anyone quoted it while conveniently forgetting your own espousal of conspiracy theories of how David Stern is out to get Mark Cuban.

Just sayin'. Boo Heat!

Whatever you say dude. No contradiction, the refs suck and the Thunder should have played better. Plus if you think Stern isn't out to get Cuban, you're an idiot or a Heat fan.

2012-06-15 12:17:05 AM
Thunder fans whining about the refs so much you'd think they were from Seattle.

2012-06-15 12:23:24 AM
Gotta hand it to the Heat...they made some huge shots. Battier's bank shot, etc.

Just about everything that could go wrong for OKC did, and they still lost by only 4. The best free throw shooting team in the NBA misses 7. We aren't a great 3 shooting team...but we missed 17 of them? Offensive fouls on the break. Westbrick's continued inexplicable driving to the lane and getting cut off - missing 8 shots before Durant has even touched the ball 8 times. Too many interior passes early. Not getting the 50/50 balls, especially that Bosh rebound with 4 Thunder standing around. And what was Durant thinking with 11 seconds left. You CAN NOT shoot there. Even if you make, you leave them time on the clock. If you miss, you lose anyway. So move outside and get a screen, or maybe dump it off to Harden, or even Russell. The Thunder just didn't make enough shots. An 18-2 start is going to get you beat pretty much every time, even against a mediocre team.

Now a 5 game series with Miami home court.

I think this game would have turned out different if Harden would have pretended Westbrick was on the Heat, and went over and stole the ball from him a few times.
