MeinRS6: mouthy libby biatch

Left some hook showing there.

2012-06-15 03:40:14 AM

Sabyen91: Oh, it was being rude? You wouldn't be here if that were a rule. Neither would I but that isn't my point. You think a state congress is made of sunshine and unicorn assholes? Some guy wants to get all up in her vagina (in a legal sense). She responded. They whined like biatches.

I love that the woman in this story has bigger balls than all of the men combined.

2012-06-15 03:42:02 AM
I was thinking "vulva."

Of course, that means now I have to go look it up ... (in the dictionary)

2012-06-15 03:43:36 AM
How dare a female lawmaker use correct medical terminology to express herself around male Republicans who are trying to take away her rights and limit her freedoms. How DARE she!

I sentence these a-holes to read aloud The Vagina Monologues, during a special session which will be shown on C-SPAN, and also for them to have their Cialis and Viagra and any medical procedure having to do with their junk, regulated by the very same women legislators who were silenced.

Now look up urethral swab.

Fark isn't a state house. You can hear the guy in the vid having to remind this twat to respect the decorum of the house. She didn't care about that. She thinks the rules don't apply to her. She is not interested in decorum. She wanted to get in her smarmy little comment and that's all she cared about. She was given a little reminder that the rules do apply to her and that she needs to watch her mouth and behave - JUST LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER MEMBERS. She isn't a special snowflake. Fark her.

Veloram: Again, I am against the dictation of any person's reproductive rights (just in case you missed that part, which I can't see how since you quoted it).

Oh please. I didn't say or suggest any different. I'm saying if it was YOU under attack by the House of Representatives of the so-called land of the free, you might not be so willing to play nice with people who are trying to keep you a second class citizen.

It's not about the message, it's about the delivery.

There are antagonistic exchanges on the floor of the House all the time, and yet the offenders are never silenced. Is this incident really that much worse than anything we've seen before?

2012-06-15 03:45:08 AM

Sabyen91: Veloram: Sabyen91: Veloram: If Congress were trying to take away my rights, and I was given the floor, I could get my message across with a bit more tact.

And if you didn't?

Did she?

The question is "If you didn't?"

But the scenario is that she WAS given the floor. If I were in her position, I would have handled it better. The end. If you want to drag an already hypothetical scenario out and open up a can of worms that really doesn't need to be that's fine. But it's getting you nowhere. You can't come across as having a legitimate argument when you're just trying to throw snide comments around at a House meeting. What did her saying that really accomplish? Nothing for her cause.

I don't really care if you would have "handled it better". You CAN actually throw snide comments around at a House meeting. Especially if some douche is all up in your vagina. Prove me wrong, bro.

At least we all agree the GOP again look like troglodytes telling women to shut up while men are talking.

Amazing.

Of course you can. You can do anything you are personally capable of. If you were so inclined, you could go streaking down Pennsylvania avenue with a kielbasa crammed up your ass screaming about how it's time for tea with your hair tied up in bows. It doesn't mean that you should, though.

So, talking about how the patriarchy is up in the vagina is like streaking down Pennsylvania avenue with a kielbasa crammed up your ass screaming about how it's time for tea with your hair tied up in bows? You don't much like women, do you?

How about the libby twats just behave like everyone else and follow the same rules of decorum as everyone else? I think everyone would settle for that, since there is nothing special about Dem women in the state house.

It's a "bit over the top" that there are only 4 women in the entire Michigan state legislature.

Hey if that's how you like to have fun, be my guest. I'm not gonna stop you. But I will shoot videos and post them all over the web. Cause that would be hilarious.

Should she be banned from participating because some douchebag who is trying to get up in the vagina gets told he his getting up in the vagina?

Sabyen91: Should she be banned from participating because some douchebag who is trying to get up in the vagina gets told he his getting up in the vagina?

No, and I never thought that should have been the case anyway.. But she could have presented her argument much better. She got emotional and in doing so lost potency in the message. After she said what she did, she came across as bitter and emotional (not that I blame her, because I don't). But in her attempt to make an intelligent argument as to WHY said douchebag needs to stay away from her vagina, the snide comment-- though clever-- did nothing to further her goals. She essentially wasted everyone's time. Including hers. Not to mention it gave the speaker the excuse he needed to exclude her. Now she can be painted as an emotional woman who contributes nothing to discussion and has no business in the House. You can't get emotional in times of duress, because it can be exploited as seen here.

There is zero reason ever for any legislator to have any issue with the word vagina, regardless of context.

You sound concerned.

Let's see what happens when a male lawmaker throws an epic hissy fit on the House floor. Let's see if anyone shouts him down or reprimands him.

IL Rep. Mike Bost Is Furious Over Pension Reforms

Clearly the word 'vagina' is more offense than having a temper tantrum worthy of a bratty 5-year-old.

There is zero reason ever for any legislator to have any issue with the word vagina, regardless of context.

But that's just it. The issue isn't with the word vagina and has everything to do with context.

For instance, if a fellow legislator told this twat on the floor "Go wash out your stinky vagina before you step foot back in the capital", and she got upset, would you inform her that "There is zero reason ever for any legislator to have any issue with the word vagina, regardless of context"?

Anyone with an IQ over room temp understands the actual issue here. I guess you can continue to ignore it if you want and have deep thoughts like "Republicans are afraid of the word vagina", because that is making all of you look really smart.

That's right. If the House Majority wants to fark with her rights to privacy and health, she should just lie back, and think of England, and say nary an unkind word, instead of raising her voice to the males in the house like some vulgar slattern.

Yes, given the context of what was being discussed she was entirely justified to say what she did. What business does any government have telling a woman what she can or can't do with her reproductive system?

It's fine for you to feel that way, but you are simply wrong. She can't say what she did on the house floor. She has to follow the regular decorum just like all of the other members. She is not special. It doesn't matter what topic is being discussed.

I dare say the precise quantity of broken noses would have depended on the precise quantity of her opposition. Not that I am advocating violence by politicians, but it does add a certain... joie de vivre to legislative debate that mere language and delivery tones cannot but poorly emulate.

Here's a better angle of Mike Bost's rant. Can you just imagine the YouTube comments, or the outrage from the Right if a (D) woman did something this?

Link

A man throws a contrived fake-ass tantrum in his state capitol and he is called a farking hero. A women says "vagina" in the context of standing up for the rights of women in that state and it's called "unprofessional conduct" and her "offensive comments" disrupted the decorum of the House."

There's something very f*cking wrong with the people who are running this country and it has nothing to do with "vagina".

I know a word you hate: VAGINA

You've proven that on this thread. Without ever discussing the issue other than declaring your own opinion as fact. It scares you doesn't it? VAGINA

Maybe women have something that you don't have. VAGINA

You need to control it. VAGINA

You need to tell them what they can say. VAGINA

You must not listen to anyone except your internal voice. VAGINA

Don't you wish you had a VAGINA?

LaViergeNoire: Using anatomical terms bothers a lot of people, especially older people. When my son was two, he followed me into the bathroom and asked, "Mommy, where's your penis?"

I told my mom, who thought it was funny, and repeated the story to a lady in her bowling league. The lady's response was "Where did he learn that WORD!!???" We now refer to his penis as his tallywhacker, his head as his thinker-thing, and his hands as his grabby-wabbies. No more of those sciency words for us!

Not only that, but republicans like to pretend that abortions are something that anonymous sluts have. The idea that real women that they know are affected by this legislation is a reality that they want to ignore.

Ah, the old "poke a badger with a stick" test. Of course, a badger is actually badass, whereas modern GOP male politicians are sniveling little biatches that constantly snarl to hide the fact that they're scared of everything that isn't in their tiny comfort zone.
