Yesterday I dropped my laptop on the floor & it wouldn't boot up, and I started to panic that I would miss Caturday! But being the computer genius that I am, I pushed on something sticking out the side that didn't look right, and then it worked, lol.

Haha it's funny, I've seen that photo a bunch of times but I just now noticed: that's my same computer tower. I'D RECOGNISE THOSE DRIVE BAYS ANYWHERE. I don't think it's especially common, either.

Seriously, D'Artagnan has become the kind of cat people point to when they explain why they don't like cats...

Comes home only to eat (3 minutes- I timed it last night) then goes back out.
Try to pet him, he ducks away or growls....and if you ignore the growl you get a smack.
Was gonna take him to the vet to get him checked out, but he tore a hole in the carrier, then started picking fights with the other cats (whose reaction was "Dude...what is your PROBLEM?").
I finally had to let him back outside and cancel the appointment (it was for much later in the day).

All my cats have been 'nice' cats. They are treated well (read: 'spoiled rotten') to ensure this.
D'Artagnan used to be a nice cat.
WHATTHEHELL IS GOING ON?

Sounds like he might be experiencing discomfort or pain of some kind. Was it a sudden change, or did his behaviour turn gradually? If it was sudden, he might have an injury. If gradual, he might have an infection or some other medical problem.

And for how long has it been going on? Could he still be upset about Raven's appearance in the household, even though she's been with you for a year now? Might he be holding a grudge?

I have also heard that hyperthyroid can cause cats to become aggressive and hyperactive. Symptoms of hyperthyroid include weight loss and increased water drinking. I realize he's not home much for you to check for such things, but it's a thought.

I think he definitely needs to see the doctor. Does your vet make house calls? Perhaps you can corral D'Artagnan at dinnertime, maybe shut him in the bathroom or something before he takes off again, and have the vet come by at that time. Not sure what else to suggest.

Poor fellow. I hope he will be all right and that it is a straightforward problem to solve. Best wishes to you and the clowder, and good luck!

The good thing is, I have brand-new nephew!
My sister delivered a whopping 9lb 8oz baby boy yesterday, and I get to go meet him this evening! :D Hooray!

They are Siberian Forest Cats. They're siblings, so they should get along. The girl is indeed a lilac point. :)

They have a same mother as Bernard did, but a different father. So, I shouldn't have to go through that whole ordeal again.

I saw that last Sunday in the coupon ads and the first thing I thought of was Baby Biscuit Face

So, I'm looking at the kitty and puppy names and we have some different ones. Kind of curious how they were named. I'll start

Rocky - The Rock (and she was solid like a rock in her younger years).
Diego - Ice Age
Cosmo - not named by me
Stormy - he's a black cat and I found right before a nasty storm blew in
Isis - because I wanted an Egyptian cat :)
Norbert - technically Norberta because with all of her fur, the rescue thought she was a he!
Robert - dad named him, looks like a bobcat with a long tail
India - named by rescue
George - because all I could think of was "I'm going to love him and pet him and call him George" when I found him by the side of the road.

OMG BABY BISCUIT IS SO CUTE I WANT TO GO BACK IN TIME AND STEAL HIM.

The gray one is going to be neat. I've seen NFC with pioints and tabbies but never solid!
