It's actually where they do most of the filming. There's also a bar called, 'Bar Cwtch' that has a tardis as its door.

I just heard about it when Matt and Karen were on the Nerdist Podcast. They said they go there quite a bit when they're filming.

So Dr, Who fans - I've heard good things about the show, where should I start? There are quite a few options for Dr. Who on Netflix and I have no idea where to start.

That depends. The newer episodes starting with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor are what a lot of people recommend as an easy place to jump in. The older episodes might be a bit more challenging to people that don't jive with older BBC shows. Some of the older stories are great, but they might be a too slow paced for the modern TV viewer (and the special affects are what you'd expect from the 60s/70s/80s).

Season 1 of the current show.

The new show was designed so you didn't need knowledge of the previous 26 seasons to enjoy it. It's the best place to start.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to start with season 5 of the current run. That's a horrible place to start, for various reasons. The best plan is start with the Christopher Eccleston season and go from there.

/and if you like the new series, you can always go back and watch the old serials later.

I absolutely LOVE how this comes up in nearly every Who thread. I also vote for starting with Season 1, but if you have short attention span theater, at least do:

Rose
Dalek
The Empty Child
The Doctor Dances

If you like all of those, just roll on in order.

You can never just start with Season 5. You have to atleast watch Silence in the Library/Forest of Dead or the whole Season 5/6 loses a lot of weight.

Sir, you owe me a keyboard. Any model from any century will be fine.
