If they're letting us see the "experimental drones" then what in the blue fark must they be working on now?

2012-06-14 09:03:45 AM
Yeah, they've been in that business since at least WWII.

Oh, cute! An entertaining UFO story to put a fun spin on drones!

Makes sense.

Let's say you are a Taliban fighter and you see one of these. You come out...wow must be aliens! Let's take grainy night photos!

And you're dead.

Drones are fun! You should check out DIY Drones and build your own.

From what I remember about the X-47, it's a carrier-based observation drone, not entirely unlike the one Iran hijacked a while ago. The next step would be arming it, obviously, and maybe reducing the radar signature.

Yesterday there was a thread about man-portable anti-personnel drones that they're sending to Afghanistan, so they're clearly already working on transforming the Army into Mobile Infantry.

Which means the real answer to your question is armed stealth drones with jetpacks.

The military is also cautioning people who may see the drones flying around in coming months

At least they finally admit they've been experimenting with alien technology. Now we can wait to see what they plan on doing with it.

Back to work slaves!

Maryland State Police towed it on a flatbed trailer from Garrett County, Md., to Naval Air Station Patuxent River -- but even they didn't know what it was at the time, police said.

This seems unlikely.

Don't worry, that's not an alien spacecraft, just a flying military robot.

Sure, but just to be on the safe side, "Klaatu barata nicto"

They won't be Mobile Infantry until those apes get power suits

Funny how a grainy night photo of a fairly straightforward contemporary flying wing design looks like a hollywood-style flying saucer.
And yet we're still going to hear people insist that they know what a plane looks like and the saucer they saw through clouds/smog/heat-distortion/etc was 100% definitely not a plane.

Even though it's quite obvious that human planes can and do look a lot like saucers in certain situations.

If I'd only looked at the picture, and not read the article, I'd still be wondering how the hell people could confuse a UFO with a gas station.

DARPA is working hard on that, too. The power source is the main problem.

Klaatu barata Beltway!

X-47's will be dropping guided bombs, and will basically serve as reuseable cruise missiles operating off of aircraft carriers. We'll be able to *accurately* bomb the crap out of anyone we want for a bargain basement price!

What is conveniently not mentioned here, is that all this happened during the talk of radiation spikes the other day, and it was spotted where one of them was reported.

Just a coincidence, i'm sure.

Common misconception. It's actually the saucers themselves that are blurry, not the pictures.

I saw one on the back of a flatbed at a weigh station along highway 44 in Missouri last week. It was all wrapped up in shrinkwrap and did look like an alien spacecraft.

All UFO sightings I've read about include someething about seeing flashing lights.
That's why I call bullshiat!

Think about it.

What would aliens need flashing lights for on their craft?

Think about it.

The Maryland State Police rented a trailer, hired some teamsters and trucked a military drone across the state last year too?

They have the same laws?

I'd say the majority still don't have flashing lights, and the FAA requirement that all our stuff needs flashing lights actually points to them being something unusual. The Black Triangles which are very common now sometimes have something flashing but mostly don't.

You can tell that is shopped. Everyone in the area knows the beltway is in gridlock 24/7. Hel I was once in a traffic jam at 5 am on a sunday. (over turned tractor trailer)

I was wondering why the gov was suddenly carting their hardware around in the "open" -- this should feed the conspiracy theorists for a while.
