He and Dave Flemming alternate roles every few innings during radio broadcasts. He was color during the 9th.

Seems these things are becoming fairly regular. Amazing what happens when everybody's not hopped up on horse testosterone or whatever.

Actually lots of really good pitching last night, Cain, Dickey, Lynn.

/It's like the 60's have returned without the drugs and free love, so none of the good stuff.

I think baseball is kinda lame, but that video from the crowd was a cool moment

I have him on my fantasy team and it helped propel me into the lead in this week's matchup in W, K, ERA and WHIP. Sadly those are the only 4 categories I'm ahead in so far.

Don't know why my hitting has been so atrocious to this point... after 10 HR and 37 RBI last week, down to 0 and 2 so far this week. WTF batters.

because pitchers weren't on juice either? steroids actually help pitchers, they help their bodies recover faster. this is a documented effect of steroids; hitting the ball further is a myth concocted by sportswriters protecting their Golden Age heroes.

There were also 14 no-hitters (including 2 multiple-pitcher games) thrown in 1990 and 1991. There were six no-hitters thrown in 1969 when they lowered the pitcher's mound because pitchers dominated too much in 1968.

No-hitters are random flukes that happen in bunches sometimes because thousands of baseball games are played each year.

I hear you. My team'shiatting fell apart 3 weeks ago today when on an off day my team went 1-15. They haven't done shiat since. It seems like my team'shiatting is in a combined June-swoon.

/at least the pitching has come around to keep my team steady
//I'm starting Hudson against the Rangers tonight as a challenge to Hamilton to stop sucking so badly
///he hasn't been that great since his freak-week

Citation? Seriously, I've never heard of such a thing. I'd be willing to read up on it though.

How, then, do they explain the INSANE home run numbers for all the guys that later were known to juice?

I'm thinking the proof is in the numbers.

Yeah this week is a lost cause from a hitting standpoint. Tonight my team is already 0-15 with zeroes across the board. Cabrera 0-5 against the Tigers? Now that's just bad luck.

Amazingly though I could scrape through without much damage, as I'm clinging to all 6 pitching categories and in a 6-6 ties at the moment.

So annoying cause my hitting has been solid (if unspectacular) this year, and with Michael Morse back from the DL I thought only primed to improve.
