This gives me a good idea for a band name:
The King of Khakis.

Pretty cool, eh?

I'd bet Scar killed the king of ghazals so he could take over their kingdom too.

If all of your organs die at once maybe you should learn a new instrument.

I've only heard a few songs by him. But I will cry a river when Asha Bhosle passes, queen of the Bollywood playback singers. Find a copy of her singing Yuhn Na Thi from 1983. My favorite ghazal of all time.

In India men go out to drink and watch ghazals. It's a bit like strip clubs in the States except there's two guys sitting on stage playing strange instruments and singing centuries-old love songs.

I think I got to see a performance in Toronto once. Went to what appeared to be a little hole-in-the-wall on Gerrard East and inside it was large, almost filled to capacity, and there were two guys singing while audience members (generally middle-aged) got up and danced along. The food was fantastic, and so was the music.
