FormlessOne: "If we just keep dehumanizing them, they will go away!" This sounds like a friggin' South Park episode.

tricycleracer: Pinellas county keeps trying to export its homeless problem. They're even giving out bus tickets.Link
AverageAmericanGuy: A lot of the success of shopping malls has to do with the availability of clean, accessible restrooms. Malls with dirty restrooms or insufficient restrooms drive away paying customers and tilt the balance towards poor and criminal elements. The same holds for cities. Cities with numerous, clean public restrooms are pleasant to live in. People want to be there and they spend their money there. Cities with few public restrooms are more dangerous and have more poor people, on average, than cities with many public restrooms.Another benefit of public restrooms is that the poor actually have a place to clean themselves; a huge boon to the nouveaux poor who more than likely need a place to clean up before hitting the streets to look for employment. This is a terrible decision. The opposite should be done. More restrooms and more full-time employees to keep the facilities maintained. Heck, hire some of the poor to maintain the things.
krafty420: Funny how solutions to fighting the homeless problem never include putting an end to homelessness
Atomic Spunk: Take it from me - you haven't really lived until you've had a blowjob from a woman with no teeth.
Atomic Spunk: Homeless people suck. But you usually have to give them a few bucks or some crack to get them motivated first. Take it from me - you haven't really lived until you've had a blowjob from a woman with no teeth.

studebaker hoch: A homeless guy lives hoping he won't be noticed.A bum lives by getting up in your face in the street asking for money./I've been homeless. Never been a bum.
ghare: If you start saying stuff like"the homeless deserve help" someone will nail your ass to a tree.41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'44 "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'45 "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.
