I got a good bit of money on the Dutch advancing, so what would be the ideal result of the first game?

What a nice guy Ronaldo is -- knew he was offsides, so kicked it out for a goalkick. Very classy move.

/Bendtner!!
//Ronaldo will be shot by sunrise

Russ Feingold's Brass Balls: We've secretly replaced Ronaldo with someone incompentent.

Let's see what happens.

I think he secretly hates playing for his country. His tears nourish me.

Denmark just might be a dark horse in this tournament. Portugal and Netherlands to go out? Who had money on that bet?

2012-06-13 01:39:38 PM
Only just switch on the game ... Ronaldo misses an easy one and the Danes go and equalize. I should step away for another few minutes ...

Whenever Ronaldo sets up in that free-kick wide stance, I'd love to see someone rush from the stands to kick him in the crotch. Just once.

Carl Winslow's .9 MM: I got a good bit of money on the Dutch advancing, so what would be the ideal result of the first game?

This isn't bad, if the Dutch can beat the Germans. Then they just need a tie against Portugal.

...I think.

This would be it or a Portugal win. Either way The Netherlands would have to beat Germany, then match the Germans' result to go through.

Teams lose shocking games. Remember when the US beat Spain a couple years ago?

No chance for the keeper on that one. Screened by his defender and a strong strike makes it 3-2

gave them too many chances

2012-06-13 01:46:04 PM
Seriously, what was that about? Ronaldo was on the ground and had to be helped up. Unless I'm seeing things again.

2012-06-13 01:46:18 PM
Welp. I might just get the result right, but not the score.

This actually puts the Netherlands in fighting contention for going through, but only if they beat Germany.

2012-06-13 01:46:21 PM
Awesome strike. Totally whiffed, turned around and drilled it.

2012-06-13 01:46:38 PM
Now it remains to be seen if Denmark has it in them to be a top-flight squad and find, deep in their guts, another equalizer.

Sure. But they played well that whole tourney if memory serves. They were having a peak performance. You can't say that about the Dutch.
