Now That's What I Call a Taco!: Perkins is worthless in this series. Can't guard anyone on the Heat, not an offensive threat.

He lets LeBron relax and float around on defense so he has gas in the tank at the end!

/oh wait, that's not really helping the Thunder
//looks like Wade likes this matchup

2012-06-12 09:23:19 PM
Prediction: The Heat don't keep shooting 61%

2012-06-12 09:23:42 PM
Jesus, LeBron must be getting a semi seeing Westbrook guard him.

2012-06-12 09:24:21 PM
RepoManTSM: Stan Van talks a lot of shiat for a guy for never played past D-3.

Why is everyone calling him Stan Van when it's Jeff? Is this a meme or is everyone just clueless?

2012-06-12 09:24:31 PM
And 1.

Thunder are playing great man on defense...and the Heat won't stay this...hot.

2012-06-12 09:24:51 PM
jayhawk88: Jesus, LeBron must be getting a semi seeing Westbrook guard him.

Not if he can only get the ball out by the three point line. LeBron can't do jackshiat getting the ball out there unless he is playing out of his mind like Game 6 against Boston. He needs the ball 3-5 feet closer.

2012-06-12 09:25:21 PM
Lol, Collison. "You guys gonna make a layup...no...maybe, wait...oh fine I guess I'll run..."

jayhawk88: Jesus, LeBron must be getting a semi seeing Westbrook guard him.

In real life? He would. In the NBA? Guys can flop at any time and you get called for a foul for being big. So it's not the advantage it would be ordinarily.

Harry Zach OBalls: TheJoe03: bulldg4life: The Heat's halfcourt offense is the most awkward thing known to man. Even worse than a new born Giraffe trying to walk.

It's why theelguerodiablo: Everybody drink 5.

We need to make a finals drinking game.

Any time a commentator says tremendous or absolutely, drink

or just drink for every made fg/ft by durant, westbrook, lebron, wade, and harden. it'll be fun!

/and blocks by ibaka?

Surprising amount of Heat fans in Anchorage.

The local media markets usually show Seattle's stuff, and Mario Chalmers is a graduate of Bartlett High School in Anchorage.

/right next door to where I work

jayhawk88: Jesus, LeBron must be getting a semi seeing Westbrook guard him.

Westbrook is actually guarding people?! Chalmers was so wide open on that 3.

2012-06-12 09:26:17 PM
No lead is safe in the NBA. Just ask the Spurs.

2012-06-12 09:26:50 PM
jayhawk88: Lol, Collison. "You guys gonna make a layup...no...maybe, wait...oh fine I guess I'll run..."

That's why I still like Collison. That's me! "Dammit I made a nice outlet pass so you would do all the work and I could stand here. Why did you pull it back out? Now I have to cross half-court."

Wow that Rock of Ages promo looked bad. Like "Get beat out by Avengers 7th week" bad.

2012-06-12 09:28:32 PM
I think the Heat have really found something if they can convince Bosh he needs to keep coming off the bench.

2012-06-12 09:28:35 PM
A Fark Handle: here's what i don't get. everyone is telling the sonics fan to get over and shut up. but doesn't their existence prove their point. if the bobcats or hornets had moved there wouldn't be a mass movement screaming about it. of course clay was always just looking for a team to bring home to okc. he was a boy with a new toy. but instead of taking a team from a city that didn't care (seriously find a bobcat fan), he stole the sonics with an assist from the nba. why? because stern wanted to send a message to every other nba city, "give us what we want or we'll shoot the hostage." that's what so farked up. it was a mob hit to keep the extortion going and most of america is ok with that. they stabbed a pregnant woman to take and keep her baby. ugh...

/that's all i'll say about that.

One question, and let me preface this by saying that I certainly don't have an answer, but, is the NBA overall better or worse off after Seattle's move to Oklahoma City?

I would think that Stern would think in these terms and that his answer would be "yes". The thing of it is that businesses are not intended to make ethical, moral, or emotional decisions. Their only concern are their own good, and, by proxy, the good of the shareholders where applicable.

Unfortunately, sports tends to be highly emotional for many people. It's hyperbolic to say that losing a sports team is akin to a hostage being shot or a pregnant woman being stabbed. It sucks for fans, yes, but there are many worse things in life. Sports fans generally have no perspective.

Olfin Bedwere: No lead is safe in the NBA. Just ask the Spurs.

Or the Heat is game 2 of last year's finals.

jayhawk88: Wow that Rock of Ages promo looked bad. Like "Get beat out by Avengers 7th week" bad.

I don't get the appeal of the premise. If you like 80s hair bands, why not enjoy the originals on youtube and save $10?

I love it when they actually make the 3's they were signed to make.

James looks awkward and is trying way too hard

bulldg4life: I think the Heat have really found something if they can convince Bosh he needs to keep coming off the bench.

I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that anymore - most places have one of their best guys come off the bench.

Big 3 coming up huge, Wade, Battier, and Chalmers. Just like we thought.

2012-06-12 09:30:48 PM
Jayhawks are playing well!

2012-06-12 09:30:57 PM
Lol, it's the Chalmers/Fisher battle we were all looking forward to! SOMETHING'S GOT TO GIVE!

That ball was coming down and out...not offensive interference.

What happened to the OKC defense that smothered the best offense in basketball last series. If you can slow down the Spurs half court offense you should destroy the Heats.

Super Nintendo is going off.

Collison is going to get Perk's minutes if he's not careful.

2012-06-12 09:32:58 PM
That was off the rim.

Too bad they didn't steal the bucket from the Celtics, since that was who got a free stop on the Heat by the refs making the same bad call.

/nice flop, Harden

2012-06-12 09:33:08 PM
Damn James Harden...

2012-06-12 09:33:40 PM
Harden with the Reggie Miller leg kick.

2012-06-12 09:33:53 PM
Looked like it was offensive interference at full seed to me.

Is Jessica Biel the three tittied chick in Total Recall?

RepoManTSM: Looked like it was offensive interference at full seed to me.

Nah, clearly off the rim and out. Like I said, refs made the same stupid call against the Heat in Game 4 or 5 against the Celtics.

/we all know who Uncle Drew is, Pepsi, you dipsh*ts

And featuring Justin Bieber as Kutato!

So "Uncle Drew" is the new "The Lebrons"? How long til Irving leaves Cleveland?

it's one of my favorites and between the euros, the cup, and this shiat show i'm in "shape"...

I hate split screen interviews. He don't need to Spots mug to know it's him.

2012-06-12 09:37:54 PM
Heat have no answer for Collison!

2012-06-12 09:37:55 PM
Nick the Quick!

/not the Quick

2012-06-12 09:38:06 PM
After watching Collison's hustle tonight, don't expect too much of Perkins.

2012-06-12 09:38:44 PM
Battier is ON FIRE!

2012-06-12 09:38:58 PM
Well if you had 10 minutes in the 2nd quarter for your first bad Fisher 3, collect your winnings.

2012-06-12 09:39:15 PM
Battier and Collison, dominating. Just like we all expected.

2012-06-12 09:41:17 PM
Van Gundy is the Andy Rooney of the NBA.

2012-06-12 09:41:25 PM
if you bet the over on Shane Battier's point total for game one...claim your prize.

2012-06-12 09:42:04 PM
Oh come on JVG. It was a power struggle. It was in OKC too until Durant took over in the playoffs. Just admit it.
