We've had enough discussions about this over the past two days to last all offseason.

I'm not saying another word about it until the end of the series.

My favorite sub-subplot: Juwan Howard's quest for a ring.

2012-06-12 07:11:35 PM
Lebron has this nasty habbit of choking in the finals, Sonics in 6.

2012-06-12 07:33:23 PM
Go not Lebron.

2012-06-12 07:40:10 PM
I find Dwyane Wade much more unlikeable than LeBron.

This is why I only watch college sports. It gets ugly when the teams don't have to pretend to be honest.

Mike Tyson singing is always funny.

Are they going to do this awful kimmel shiat before every game?

2012-06-12 08:10:36 PM
No matter who wins, some peoples' heads are going to explode.

One of my favorite sub-sub-subplots is the quest for anyone from the Fab 5 to win some sort of championship past high school

I have only one question:

Who is this Chris Bosh fellow the commentators are talking about?

He's the guy that does the animatronics for the velociraptors in the Juraissic Park movies

The crowd is way too quiet for a playoff game. They are embarrassing themselves out there.

Anyone have a link to a site that is streaming this live?

No question.

I want Lebron to have an awesome series and still come up short. Then I want to his jock-sniffers saying "if he only had some help."

2012-06-12 08:24:25 PM
Every game LeBron gets two technicals before the half, cost his team the Finals. Takes his talents back to South Beach without a trophy.

Lunatics til the day I die I run more game than the Heat and Sonics

When I saw LeBron pick Rajon off the floor, I put him in a higher standing than Wade.

/down with Miami

I hope it's a great series.

And a buddy of mine asked if the Thunder win, would Durant become the 1st Longhorn to win an NBA title, which is 1/2 true...Royal Ivey is also on the team, though on the end of the bench.

Then it occurred to me, in both conference finals, there was a Longhorn on all 4 teams, so basically at least one Horn is guaranteed an NBA ring this year.

/Yeah Not that much of a CSB, but for a program that is mediocre in hoops, that's a nifty bit of info for us
//Yes, I'm a former Horn, the bank reminds me every month when my student loan payment is due.

Disappointed about the solid blue Tees tonight instead of the blue and white checkered pattern.

America's team is the one that didn't up and move when the taxpayers wouldn't buy them a new stadium.

Damn you Thunder for making me root for the Heat a meteor strike.

Wouldn't it be nice if Juwan Howard could out-Derek Fisher Derek Fisher.

2012-06-12 08:44:05 PM
I'm guessing the same thing that happened to the Celtics will happen to the Heat. Coming off a long, brutal series and the quick turnaround will benefit the home team that is younger and rested.

Thunder by 8-10.

2012-06-12 08:44:12 PM
I want OKC to win, clearly. I think OKC is the better team. I think OKC will win the series.

My hope is the zebras don't take over the game, and make one team beat the other team PLUS the zebras.

2012-06-12 08:44:30 PM
Oh this is going to be sweet. I've got a rare NY strip, with some pomme frites and creamed peas, a nice cool Dogfish 60 Minute IPA, and the wife and kids are back in Ohio for the summer. Let's do this!

I can't do it. I like the team, the players, just not the fact that they're the former Seattle Supersonics. I'll pull for them and hope their douchebag owner chokes on something during one of the games. Preferably cocks. Barrels of cocks.

Who knew someone could leave Arizona State without a career-ending case of the herpes

Huh, Springsteen gave rights to play Thunder Road. Does the team use it all the time?

I doubt it, Bennett and Stern are lovers. On top of that, if Stern didn't screw over the Mavs and Cuban using the refs last year I doubt they will do it this year.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Stern isn't going to let the referees screw over his butt-buddy of an owner.

2012-06-12 08:47:36 PM
I said this in the other thread, but I think there's quite a bit of pressure for Oklahoma City to win the first game. If they don't, they're in a position where they're down 0-1 and have three of the next four games in Miami. Not that it's insurmountable, but it'll become quite a bit more difficult for the Thunder to win the series if they don't take game one.

2012-06-12 08:49:12 PM
Wait, I think that strategy is going to bit Miami in the butt...go small, but you are going to have the Thunder dare you to keep shooting from outside, rather than take it to the hole. Bad idea.

I just discovered my workplace does not have an ABC stream. They have every other damn channel (and Fox News is channel 1 for some reason). Ugh.

2012-06-12 08:50:46 PM
Unless the Heat find out a way for LeBron to defend Durant, Harden, and help with Westbrook and Ibaka...I'm going to guess Thunder in this series.

2012-06-12 08:51:04 PM
Prediction time!

Think: Heat in 6.

Want: Thunder in 6.

Cheesus: They have every other damn channel (and Fox News is channel 1 for some reason). Ugh.

Blech, that sounds like a news package or something. I remember in my military days they had TVs that only had FoxNews and CNN. WTF is that sh*t?

Since those TVs seemed to only exist when I was in the Guard, I was super-pissed, since, y'know, several of the weekends are NFL/college football weekends.

/I suppose I would've probably ignored all customers if we did have football on anyway

2012-06-12 08:51:54 PM
Go Zombie Sonics!

I think the home team wins every game.
