The Voice of Doom: Cajnik
Czech rep is central Europe

Geographically, but people Americans older than 30 probably still separate Europe into Western and Eastern Europe along the Iron Curtain.

I sort of like to see a ruckus too, until I realize that real people are being hurt, and then I'm horrified and sorry for it. Makes no sense, but it's the truth.

Looking at all the lineups, Group A is the "group of players whose names I won't even try to pronounce."

You can be sure that there have been gay - just not out - players on the Italian team over the years.

That's what the news reports I've seen seem to be indicating.

You're doing it wrong:

In another, a group of clearly drunken Polish men began fighting among themselves, hitting and kicking each other. Two were on the ground bleeding and police intervened, throwing two more to the ground. The men were holding cans of beer and mumbling and one appeared to be unconscious.

to be fair, if history is any indicator, a column of russian marching through warsaw might be a self defense situation for the poles...

These pre-game announcers are too upset over some match again.

Certainly, but the Poles seem to be a little feisty no matter who is marching (see above).

Russian FA was already fined for banners that read Russian Empire and for monkey chants during the Czech game. Against Poland will be worse, and god forbid they play in Ukraine in the knockouts

Gonna have to watch this one without me. Off to a very boring seminar class that I'm not even sure I have to attend yet.

Have fun :(

The only solution to this nonsense is to have the Euros in America from now on. Could host it just on the East Coast to minimize travel:

Boston
New York (Yankee Stadium and/or Meadowlands)
Philly
Baltimore
D.C.
Tampa
Miami
Charlotte
New Jersey (Red Bull Arena)

It's not Russian music unless you're not sure whether they want to hug you or launch the missiles.
