IMDB would like a word with your memory; you're remembering that show being on a lot less recently than it was. :)

Of course, it could be that you're thinking of the much longer running show that presumably inspired it, and *was* running in the 90s.

A question left unanswered by this article is whether those canine molars are natural (enhanced merely by the knocking out of the incisors, etc., or enhanced by dental surgery or sharpening.

Seeing as the guy is a transient, they may well be natural (some people seem to have a mouthful of 32 uniform incisors, while others harken back to the dentation of our simian ancestors with quite distinct canines, etc.).

But I'd like to know if this freak is natural or artificial. It makes a big difference psychologically, I expect.

In the one case he's just a biter with bad teeth. In the other, he's another product of antisocial fantasy, like reality show contestants and other fashion victims.

Are you certain? The writing, direction, dialogue and costumes of the series always seemed reminiscent of television programs produced in the late 1990s. However, a more recent production date would explain the common appearance of LCD computer monitors rather than CRT displays.

Yeah, I remember watching it only a few years back, plus if you click the link to IMDB that I posted earlier, it shows that it ran from 2007-2008. Forever Knight, on the other hand, has VERY similar subject matter (the main character vampire is a cop rather than a PI, but close enough to easily confuse them), but did run in the 90s (from 1992-1996). Add in the Buffy spin-off "Angel" chronologically between them, and there's an easy path from one to the other...

The definition of trust would be two gay cannibals blowing each other.
