With the failure of the reboot of Albert as Tensei I believe we should revisit the other failures of repackaging of characters in the WWE. I mean besides all of the different versions of Albert.

10. Kevin Fertig in general.
9. Al Snow White (this one has not occurred yet but will tonight as Vincent Kennedy of McMahon will attempt to do the capitalization on the Snow White and the Hunstmen movies)
8. Mike Shaw who was the first to play the Hunter Hearst Hemsley character until it was clear that he did not really portray the blueblood image as was desired of he.
7. Kane during the storyline upon which it was rumored that he was the kid who played Paul from The Wonder Years
6. Straight Edge Rey Mysterio who was really just Rey Mysterio but who wore the fake appendage that would allow him to do the peeing of the urine of C.M. Punk so as to pass the wellness tests.
5. Al "Green" Snow which offended the community of African Americans due to the use of blackface. LAUGHTER OL image if the WWE would have ever had the characters in black face! Oh wait.
4. Zach Gowen who originally had both legs but on an episode of Raw is War Vincent decided to put over HHH by having Zach do the job and allow HHH to literally remove the leg of him then they did the repacking of Zach as the one-legged wrestler.
3. Eve who was repacking as a not as hot version of Stacy Kiebler Elf.
2. Brodus Clay who is about to be repackaged the third time but this time they will literally make him wear the dinosaur outfit and pretend to be the dejected actor for the children's show.
1. John Cena who was repackaged to have 308 fewer moves than when he made the debut but was able to take 5000 more bumps in the match only to come back to win this as he was made the immortal due to the pact with Satan.

Umm, the 1000th episode isn't until next month, here in STL.

I'm pretty sure subby meant to put those quotation marks around the word 'sport' and simply missed by a few words

Wow, Subby.

The 1,000th episode isn't until July, and the show starts at 8 PM.

You fail so hard, you should be writing for Vince.

Still taking orders for FWC shirts! We have a little over 6 shirts already requested, but we'd like to get some more to bring the price down for everyone. See below for details!

Shirt will be black, 100% cotton, with a design on front and back.

Front:
lh4.googleusercontent.com

Back:

lh5.googleusercontent.com

Pricing: Depends heavily on the number of shirts ordered, but should not exceed $20 w/shipping (some larger sizes may cost extra though). Any funds left over will be donated to charity.

Interested? Email me (EIP) with a size and quantity needed. Once we tally orders, I'll get a final pricing per shirt from the printers.

ADR out of title match with a concussion. Number one contender match tonight. Wonder if Ziggler gets a push out of this?

Won't be seen much in this thread tonight, will be too busy sweating out Game 6 hoping and praying my Devils can get the series to 7...hopefully I'll be very cheerful and happy when I pop in during the intermissions.

i have mixed thoughts. I would like to see the Devils win it all after being down 0 - 3. However, if the Kings ARE supposed to win the cup, let them do it in LA, because if they do it in Newark, I fear for their lives and the city as a whole.

I think the Mods or whoever, need to edit the headline of this thread.

It ISN'T the 1000th episode...

Do we count how the Undertaker was supposed to be the Gobbldey Gooker, but the did something smart and removed him from that character before the unveil?

That is quite the waste of time having Christian show up. Was the #1 moment Hogan related and he didn't want to announce his own highlight or something. I am sure Vince had some rules for the Christian appearance, but just showing up to announce a highlight sure seems like a waste.

Nope. Sting's return in 2006.

And the Sheets say that Christian didn't even want to be there.

Did Christian have the IC Belt with him? That would be funny if WWE's number 2 belt showed up in TNA

No IC Belt, no mention of WWE, no "GO" music, and they called him "Christian Cage".

WWE is now billing Paul Levesque (a/k/a Triple H) as the Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events. John Laurinaitis was previously listed as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations on the corporate website.

With changing this on the website it looks like Johnny Ace may have his job title changed by Vince tonight.

2012-06-11 06:58:31 PM
So are they going to launch a major summer angle tonight a la Nexus from a few years ago?

No Summer of Punk for you. Nothing will happen until Vince comes out at 11:00 and makes Johnny join the kiss my arse club or whatever he has planned.

Probably a promotion, if they were going to fire Johnny Ace they would have done it versus John Cena

I was thinking they would do a you might get fired soon storyline till SummerSlam. WWE seems to love the "Is the GM getting fired" angles.

We got spoiled by last night's Slammiversary. 3 hours, only a couple video packages, 9 good-to-great matches, and no filler.

Raw is going to be painful in comparison.

Yeah, but at least we can count on each other to rip on it. It dulls the pain.
