buster_v: cman: Your blog sucks

Came to say that.

Does it, though? Whatever Daily Kos' other flaws, I don't think you can accuse them of fabricating any of the points made in the article.

Especially the portrait.

Yes, it's the DEMOCRATS that make a messiah of Obama. This other stuff is just giving props to great, great men.

It's too bad we didn't get someone like Santorum or Bachmann on the GOP side. I really think the country needed to get this all out in the open, as a catharsis of sorts.

Oh, you mean the insane outliers who are, and let me emphasize this, SCORNED AND NOT INTENTIONALLY MADE CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE BY THE PARTY?

Both sides have nuts, so vote for the party that holds them up as their leaders.

And yet somehow 75-80% of Jews vote consistently for Democrats. Why would that be?

Hmmm......might it be because in spite of "the lefts (sic) blatant anti-semitism" the only party that actively insists that "America is a Christian nation!" is the GOP. The only party insisting that Jesus' law needs to be American law is the GOP. The only party demanding that laws are crafted based upon scripture are the Republicans.

Sorry that YOUR party is the party of bigotry (against non-Christians, against non-whites, against non-heterosexuals) but the "no...YOU!" tactic is moronic, to say the least, in the face of frequent, consistent actual bigotry from the mainstream Republican party.

(also I had no idea Breitbart was Jewish. The hatred from the left is because he was a proven liar whose lies were believed and repeated by liars like you)

It's still building to a crescendo. Whenever the GOP fails, as they will hopefully in November, the dumbasses keep saying it's because they are still too moderate. Their disconnect from humanity / reality grows with each legislative session.

Reminds me of the classic storyline in Scott McCloud's Zot! comic book in which some normal teens are playing a superhero roleplaying game. Yes, throwing Solyndra in Obama's face... with lies.

But of course, that was just the entire leftwing media discrediting Romney who claimed families of top officials gained illegally on the deal, and Fox News vehemently defended Romney's honor, right? No wait, that was Door #2, complete silence from FNC about the matter.

Definition of CRESCENDO

The world recoils in horror at the anti-Semitism of the party of Dianna Feinstein, Rahm Emanuel, Barney Frank and Al Franken.

The amount of audacity you need to simultaneously claim that the Democratic Party is shamelessly in bed with Hollywood and the New York/Ivy League liberal elite and that they, and not you, are the party of anti-Semites, boggles the mind.

The Breitbart Doctrine: It is not enough to scrape the bottom of the barrel. You must suck the scum up from under the barrel, savour it, love it, become one scum with it. To be worthy of leading, you must abase yourself, yea, become the lowest of the low--the neo-Nazi yearning to breathe air free of the pollution of Jews, Muslims, Christians and other riff-raff, the racist straining over a stool so big it threatens his life while he laments that the inferior races are taking his jerbs and his nuts, industriously little squirrel that he is, sup happily on the screeching Moonbat harpy filth of Ann Coulter and the fat fetid fecal breath of Rush Limbaugh..

Breitbart: the Trotksy of Movement Conservatism. To serve the people you must be more demented, ignorant, vile, mendacious, hypocritical and incompetent than the worst of them. Anything else is liberalism and elitism. The end justifies all means and all meanness. Above all, you must engage in perpetual revolution against government, the intelligentsia of which you are most decidedly part, and what the people might actually vote for. They don't know what is good for them, but you do.

Today's right-wing base places ideological agreement as a secondary consideration to vilifying and destroying its movement's designated bogeymen, regardless of veracity or consequence.

he has decided to gain their affection by doing the one thing that warms their hearts more than anything else: embracing extremist conspiracy theories and being a confrontational jerk.

It's such a bummer that Romney isn't a pushover like McCain was. Thus far, anyway.

But don't worry, everyone: The High Broderists will come along very soon to talk about how both sides are at fault.

Birtherism is not the big deal here. The big deal is the new trend where Mitt Romney is apparently completely fine with flat out lying to the public in order to get votes. It's quite a shocking new thing. I mean in the past people lied and when caught offered lame ass excuses or (rarely) retractions/apologies. And then they would stop repeating the lie. Especially the mainstream politicians. This is different, this is novel. Mitt Romney flat out lies to people and when confronted essentially shrugs it off and ignores it. Some of these are absolutely untrue too. It's not just opinion or interpretation, they're flat out lies.

Obama: "McCain said "if we keep talking about the economy, we're going to lose" Man he's so wrong, what's up with that dude?"
Romney: Holy crap check out what Obama just said: "if we keep talking about the economy, we're going to lose." Why doesn't that guy want to talk about the economy? LOL

When called out on it by the media:

UPDATE: Romney senior New Hampshire adviser Tom Rath tells CBS News the ad is "exactly what we want."
"They were using McCain's words to make fun of McCain. And we're using the exact same technique," he said.
Pressed on whether it was unfair to lop off the top of Mr. Obama's comments -- which would show the president was quoting the McCain camp -- Rath said, "He did say the words. That's his voice."
He then suggested that the more people discuss the ad, the better it is for the Romney campaign.

Seriously. I'm not suggesting people vote (D) but for farks sake it's gotta be pretty embarrassing to be an (R) these days.

Funny - I don't think "the liberal media" has allowed Markos Moulitsas to hijack a congressman's press conference yet. Then again, he hasn't tried to.

Moulitsas will have to go a LONG way to go before he's equivalent to Breitbart.

2012-06-11 02:13:29 PM

Lumpmoose: McCain passed his wireless microphone to one woman who said, "I can't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's not, he's not uh - he's an Arab. He's not - " before McCain retook the microphone and replied:

"No, ma'am. He's a decent family man [and] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about. He's not [an Arab]."

...

"We want to fight, and I will fight," McCain said. "But I will be respectful. I admire Sen. Obama and his accomplishments, and I will respect him."

At which point he was booed again.

Wow. At the time I blamed McCain's campaign for fanning the flames that would cause such idiocy but in hindsight he looks like a saint. Now look how far we've sunk.

Palin was the one stoking the flames at the time. She was out claiming Obama spent his youth "palling around with terrorists" while McCain could say things like this so his campaign as a whole could have its cake and eat it too.

Either way you slice it, the GOP has sunk to the point where it has to lie, distort and libel the other side to get any sort of traction in elections. That and use all the benefits of Citizen's United to tell their lies enough that they become true in the minds of Americans. The saddest part is that it works.

I think the better questions are:

1) Is he paid to do this.
2) Is he supported by the fark moderators in his trolling.

Personally, I'd go with 1) no and 2) yes. Alternatively, calling the left anti-semitic is a perfectly reasonable comment within the posting guidelines.
