zarberg: That song bugs me so much, especially in its wide-spread acceptance. An angry girl singing about completely smashing her boyfriend's (note, not husband, boyfriend) expensive truck is "brave" and "edgy" but if the genders were reversed the guy wouldn't be edgy or brave, he'd be incarcerated.


It needs one more verse.

I'm from Texas and listen to country. I can tell you right now the who country community will let out an overwhelming "Meh". You hear songs about country, God, love and many other things. Us country folk care about more important things. A few people might not buy her album, but others will pick up the slack.

agreed, country folks are very much live and let live and what do on your own property is your business.

Good for her. You can be a Christian and be tolerant. I'm pretty damn conservative and I feel the same way about this.
