DocFarker: Manfred J. Hattan: "Green's neighbor said in the afternoon, you can actually hear the bees hovering around it and fear someone's going to stung soon."

Oh noes! Stung! One of the precious children might encounter nature!

Buy an epipen and a helmet, lady, or cough up the $200.

Tell that to the parents of the 90,000 + kids who die anually from alergic reactions to bee stings you dicknibler!

The word is better without their weakness

Corporate Self: To allow the misty eye'd country folks whose dad/grandpa/molester kept docile bees when they were a kid, remember that most bee in the southern US these days are Africanized and nothing like what you remember.

FTFA: An Orlando woman says she's fed up with no one taking responsibility for a massive beehive right outside her property.

Picture shows a swarm.

Nice journalism there, chief. I don't expect a stupid Florida mom to know the difference, but I... well I guess I don't expect a stupid Florida journalist to know the difference either.

In any case, swarms are not very dangerous and will go away in a few days at most. Just tell the kids to stay out of the backyard. An actual hive could be a problem and it'd be a good idea to remove it from where children play; only problem is hives are not as conspicuous as swarms.

I was hunting for the missing word too.
Why didn't they go the whole hog & write "stinged"?

How can this person and her neighbors not be able to pony up $200 to have teh bees removed?

"Please come and help us get these bees away from here because they're too many children around here, due to the safety of the kids," Green said. "My husband comes out here to fish. There's over 50,000 bees. We didn't even know it was here. I mean, it's kind of crazy."

Oh.

I live in Orlando, and have noticed a LOT of wasps lately. Not so many bees though.

I rescued bees a month ago. It's easy and shouldn't cost $200. Most bee keepers would gladly come get them for free.

They are too many children around here? And, they apparently are due to their own safety? WTF language is this?!
