/You don't have to wonder, it happens all the time, if it's due to bad prosecution, no witnesses, or the girl doesn't want the humiliation of a open trail, they go free all the time. Then, they not only continue to rape, but to graduate to molesting children or murder. Look at "serial killers" on wikipedia. You will find that most of them have a extensive background of sexual offenses, and have been let out of prison by parole boards who believe "I see the error of my ways, and genuinely feel pain and regret for all the suffering i have caused, and i have reformed myself, and found JESUS". Um..ya. So anyway, they let them out...and there you go. It just keeps escalating, and soon you have a killer.
