Yeah, no. Why f*ck with that cheap sh*t when we're talking fantasyland bullsh*t?

When you've got to kill every motherf*cking zombie in the room? Accept no substitute! (FWD to 1.05 for the money shot)

Ummmm...since when did we need silver bullets vs. zombies?

Well, sure, silver bullets are for werewolves. For zombies, you need green-tipped bullets.

//... and head shots

This About That: For zombies, you need green-tipped bullets.

It's $40,000,000 super zombie-killing paint! Just like blended metal, it's totally worth the price. Or, one could learn to shoot and make any load a zombie-killer. Nah... That requires practice and work. That's not my America. 20mm grenade launchers for everyone!

Here is another option. Metal Storm Laser of lead. One million rounds per minute. Ordinance (thanks Chariset) costs are high, but when the zombies come you WILL be ready.

Brass ammo is expensive enough. I'd hate to see what silver ammo costs.

"We sell Zombie targets," said Ramsey Outdoor's Murray. "The paper targets are very popular. And we have a plastic cast one that oozes liquid when you hit it. We don't sell as many of those because they're kind of expensive. But they're good targets."

These bullets have been on sale since fall of last year if not longer. Next the media will be telling us about this cool social network called Facebook.

I found their list of bullets. (link)

There's no .30-06 or .357 magnum. That's so damn unamerican of them.

Where did this zombie overload come from anyway? One movie a year ok but what is this shiat?

I went to a range for the first time is many years just last weekend and was astonished by the 'zombie' phenomenon. Not only was there a wide array of zombie targets for purchase but magazines where on the tables whose entire point was various ways of surviving the zombie apocalypse. Proper armament appears to be belt fed heavy weaponry of various types wielded Rambo style. There was even a section on how to avoid getting bitten when engaging the undead hordes hand to hand.

I was afraid to ask just how seriously this was being taken by the clientele there but the 350 pound man with the laser scoped Dirty Harry special shooting a zombie target at 10 feet seemed very serious indeed.

Sons of Guns have already covered this, with the Zombie master himself, Max Brooks...

i3.ytimg.com

...also, besides the obvious cash-in on the Zombie craze, it seems too much of a coincidence that the ammo is names "Z-Max" which clearly steals from "Z Wars" and Max's name.

I love how the media is seizing on this in the past week despite the fact this stuff came out almost a year ago. Hornady makes great ammo (I've got a few boxes of the polymer tipped .223, .22WMR, and previously 5.7x28,) but I haven't bought any of this novelty labeled stuff. Great marketing on their part, obviously, since people who don't even own guns are buying it. I find it somewhat irksome at the same time.

Yes, that and the Tea Party Gadsden flags and such have greatly concerned me at local shooting events. These people are wound up tight and angry but they don't really know what they're angry at. They think they do, and by god they will shoot it!

There's a lot of hate and fear out there. I don't think the normies really understand that very well.

The zombie obsession can be given political leanings in both ways. It's all about being able to de-humanize "the others".

They don't really think or feel like we do, so it's okay to slaughter them in mass. And you should fear that close contact with "them" will contaminate you as well.

Extreme Conservatives and Liberals alike use this thought process all the time in political and cultural debate. This is just a new twist on how to get people to follow fascism and/or hyper-nationalism. "They're not like us, so they must be destroyed!"

Are teflon coated bullets still available?
I do know that they were outlawed some time ago, but never followed the issue if they are sold again or not.

Again?

Didn't somebody already post last night about an increase in people in detroit buying that ammo?

Pfft..I'd settle for getting a case of 9mm Winchester Ranger Talon 127gr.

Puts a 9mm pistol into another category of stopping power. Human or Zombie.
