Ugh. Hate to see that happen to a Porsche.

Blood test results in 3...2...1.

Hope she comes out of this OK and all.

Followed by exactly the same three second countdown between the time she is convicted and the time she gets released from jail for "overcrowding".

AirForceVet: Hope she comes out of this OK and all.

Yeah, I hope she can injure even more people like her assistant again.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll give her a wrong dose and save the rest of the population.

I get in, like, one car accident every five years or so.
This chick is in them every six months.

This is definitely the incident that will turn her life around.

Uh-huh.

No kidding.

You heard it here first.

We mean it this time.

SHE'S LEARNED HER LESSON, BY GOD!!!

Obviously! Where have we seen this before?

Is that a 911 or just a Cayman? I can't tell.

2012-06-08 06:41:00 PM
For fark's sake. She can't even drive at noon.

2012-06-08 06:52:42 PM
She plowed into the back of a big rig, and is claiming its not her fault.

2012-06-08 06:54:40 PM
So how soon till she tweets Mitt Romney asking for a pardon?

2012-06-08 06:59:37 PM
In all fairness, the authorities are saying she wasn't driving intoxicated.

And from the looks of it, she probably wasn't paying attention and came up on a truck too fast and tried to swerve around it. The only way a truck could cut her off was it went left into the passing lane...

How does she afford a Porsche?

Mugato: How does she afford a Porsche?

who would give her insurance on Porsche?

She's getting in touch with playing Liz Taylor by method acting James Dean off camera. It's a process, people.

You can go into the assigned risk pool or post a bond instead of buying insurance.

The article says it was a rental. Who would rent her a Porsche?

OMG!!! I HOPE SHE'S OK!!!!

Trainwreck car wrecked. I had her in a TFD death pool thread last week. So close! Props to AdolfOliverPanties for predicting Richard Dawson. I've never seen someone actually get a death pool guess right before.

TFA says she said the 18-wheeler cut her off.

As much as I'd like to believe that she was just drunk, I could actually believe her story. I've had 18-wheelers try to run me off the road TWICE. It's like, seriously? ARE YOU farkING PAYING ATTENTION OR DO YOU NEED TO CATCH SOME SHUTEYE!??

I didn't submit this with a better headline. But I thought about it.

FTFA "2:14 PM PT -- This is crazy ... sources tell TMZ, the Porsche wasn't even Lindsay's ... IT WAS A RENTAL!!!"

Ummm, no "crazy" would be if it was actually hers and not a RENTAL!!!

Lindsay was driving the car, and we're told she's saying that the accident wasn't her fault, claiming the 18-wheeler cut her off.

Damn, that reminds me of the time an oil tanker cut off my speed boat and I slammed into it.

2012-06-08 08:45:11 PM
Maybe celebrities like Lindsay and Amanda Bynes should just be chauffeured around?

I was in many accidents from 16 to 18.

I cut a turn too sharp going into a parking spot and scraped a chevy Lumina.
I rear ended a truck while grabbing for a girls phone number that had fallen on the floorboard of my car.
A van didnt check her blind spot and sideswiped me.
And finally, I rear ended a customized '69 Mustang

This was all in an 86 cavalier.

I had one accident since then. I rear ended a 4Runner because a girl was jogging in basically a pair of underwear and a sports bra, and I was rubbernecking.

/end stories.

I'm willing to bet she'd suck a little sausage to get a car that keeps up her celebrity appearance. Some dude at the Rent-a-Car place is contemplating blogging about it as we speak.

Maybe if the accident had been bad enough they could have glued the body parts from Lindsay and her assistant together with transglutaminase and passed them off as filet mignon.

Back of an 18-wheeler, too.
That's just about Jane Mansfield territory.

Twice a week I have to make a 200 mile commute roundtrip from Richmond to DC, and you have to drive defensively ALL THE GODDAMN TIME. You can't just watch a tractor-trailer, you have to watch what is in front if it. If a car stops short in front of a tractor-trailer, the driver is going to swerve because they can't slow down fast enough, and they're probably going to swerve into your lane. Never pass a tractor-trailer unless it has a quarter-mile free in front of it, or you have another free lane on the left to swerve into.

Constant vigilance, people. In heavy traffic areas, you're driving on a damn pool table.

Or maybe we could stop calling these no-talent A-whores 'celebrities.' Then they'd no longer have the need [or the cash] to do dumb things like this. A world with no Ho-han. Mull it over. It works.
