You know, I think that maybe we should be encouraging this sort of posting to FB. Helps the police, and cuts down on the paperwork when folks keep giving public confessions...

I agree, if they're being held they should have access to a computer that can only go to social media sites.

It will make things a whole lot simpler for far-future anthropologists too, as they try to figure out just how weird things got before the Great Burn.

Guys like this are right up there with the dumbasses who film their crimes and post the vids to YouTube. You might as well leave your wallet at the scene of the crime and drive yourself directly to the nearest police station.

"He needs help with regards to thinking skills," Pyne told the court.

Can't fix stupid.

I never thought about that. I must be unskilled

Ruse's lawyer, Russell Pyne, had no choice but to side with the judge. "He needs help with regards to thinking skills," Pyne told the court.

Thanks, asshole. How many years of law school does it take before you learn to shut the fark up?

Alright, I don't pay attention to much so I'll just ask: what the hell is up with those weird "sunglasses?" I've seen them around, but I guess I just don't get them. What are they supposed to DO, aside from making it look like you're making a sad attempt at cosplaying Geordi LaForge?

This is why we will never outlaw stupidity, because more often than not it becomes its own punishment.

//No if we could only find a way to tax it, other than the lottery

Shuttershades are dope, yo. They've been all the rage since Animotion popularized them in 1985.

They are only supposed to look cool, in an age when glossy, pastel-colored New Wave BS was considered the height of fashion. All they managed to do was ruin your eyesight, though.

Ruse returned to Facebook to chew out the judge, calling him "stuck up".

He'll soon learn an alternative definition of "stuck up", should he happen to drop the soap.

Yeah it didn't do anything either when this group of Skinheads in Arizona attacked and beat a Native American family, then went on Facebook and bragged about it. In fact the only people that went to jail were the victims.

This is what I want to know. Why don't people ever kneel when they pick up something. seriously every soap drop doesn't have to end in anal

Whats the realistic sentence for assault by a first time offender anyhow? Like lets say you're 30, never been in trouble, and someone scams you out of $20k through legal means. So you smash his face up with your fists in a significant way. Probation? months?

/Hypothetically speaking

FTA: Boom! Im (sic) coming home best start sorting myself out. Tag for 6 months...and got to stay out of trouble for 2 years.

This quote is quite telling. I mean WTF? You don't "got" to stay out of trouble for 2 years...you just have to stay out of trouble PERIOD dumbass!

You just know when the 2 years are up this idiot's gonna cheer and say "all right! Time to party!" and fark something else up.

Poster above was right...you can't fix stupid.

Judge Ian Pearson, who offered Ruse no quarter in return, noting, "your stupidity really is not much mitigation."

I'm not a fan of forehead tattoos, but if the judge had ordered one for the defendant in this case...

People could read it back to him every day!

You had something to hide
Should have hidden it, shouldn't you?
Now you're not satisfied
With what you're being put through

It's just time to pay the price
For not listening to advice
And deciding in your youth
On the policy of truth

Things could be so different now
It used to be so civilized
You will always wonder how
It could have been if you'd only lied

It's too late to change events
It's time to face the consequence
For delivering the proof
In the policy of truth

Never again
Is what you swore
The time before

Now you're standing there tongue tied
You better learn your lesson well
Hide what you have to hide
And tell what you have to tell

You'll see your problems multiplied
If you continually decide
To faithfully pursue
The policy of truth

Never again
Is what you swore
The time before

Ruse was ultimately sentenced to 46 weeks in prison, but the inability to learn his lesson leaves much to be desired. After sentencing, Ruse returned to Facebook to chew out the judge, calling him "stuck up."

The best part of TFA.

/and the kid really knows how to lay on the humiliation for the judge; "stuck up" indeed.
