I Like Bread: What a pile of soggy saccharine dogshiat Full House was. Everyone involved with making it ought to be catapulted into the sun. I have painful memories of my little sister watching this show non-stop. Of course, my parents let her because she's the baby and this was her "one show" that she wanted to watch. Syndication was a nice loophole, since it was on FOUR TIMES A GODDAMNED DAY.

And don't get me started on Power Rangers.

There was one episode of Full House where the guys went into the future and Kimmie turned out to be a hottie. I guess the producers got that one wrong.

/ashamed that I know this.

Waldo Pepper: ElusiveWookiee: Aboleth: JonBuck: Is it time for 90s nostalgia already?

The other day a guy in his late 20s was lamenting that cartoons nowadays were rubbish compared to when he was growing up which were all awesome. I asked what was the show he missed nowadays and he said "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers."

/I yam 40.

Idiot. Power Rangers wasn't a cartoon. The right answer would have been Ninja Turtles/Tiny Toons/Animaniacs/Pinky and the Brain/etc...

My wife and I (25/27, respectively) were watching old cartoons and toy commercials on YouTube a few nights ago. Just as every generation before us has, I feel bad for the current generation. Our cartoons were better, toys were better...I feel like we were the last generation before the bubble wrap came out to protect kids.

um, i think the bubble wrap was already out for your generation.

No kidding. I'm 48 and when I was six I used to go to work with my grandfather. He was a crane operator and I got to play with 50-pound clevis pins for crawler tracks and drag-line buckets and such and wander around working construction sites. When I was 10 I was jumping onto the ladders of coal and freight trains and taking little rides. My first summer job at 17 was helping bury people (by hand, with shovels) as part of a cemetery work crew.

The only worthwhile cartoon I've seen in the last 30 years had been Ren and Stimpy. It's LOG, muthafarkers, LOG.

/Old school Sesame Street, ftw.

It involves MTV and music. This isn't happening. It's bogus.

She doesn't appear to have aged at all.

Did you not happen to notice the forehead, cheeks, and hands? She's aged... quite visibly. She looks worse than your average 40 year old gym milf.
