Somewhere along the Elephant Hill trail on the way to our campsite at Devil's Kitchen, in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.

When we bought our first set of aggressive all-terrain tires (General Grabber AT2s), we immediately drove home and attempted to head up into the woods behind our property...and promptly got stuck in a gooey spot about ten feet past the property line. My lawn tractor wasn't gonna extract us, so I enlisted the aid of my Amish neighbor John and two of his Belgian draft horses. We were out in no time.

I took this back in 1999 when I got my first digital camera and set about documenting the insane number of rusted cars in Juneau, Alaska. This beast still ran when the picture was taken.

This is a closeup of the gas cap on another rusting hulk in my now defunct project. Yes, that's the inside of the truck bed you can see in there. This truck was, like the first, still being driven when I took this picture.
