Yet another confirmation that far too many Americans are complete idiots.

What non-millionaire with more than two brain cells to rub together votes GOP?

Oh well, USA, you get the government you deserve I guess.

2012-06-05 11:55:55 PM
HAHAHAHA!!! It's just like I said it would be. The people are tired of union thuggery. He won handily despite the 120% voter turnout.

2012-06-05 11:55:58 PM
This is a clear mandate for whatever agenda Walker's paymasters want to impose.

Meh. It's Wisconsin. I went there for two weeks for some Army training, and wasn't allowed to have my training rifle for suicide concerns from my commander.

Who are these folks that support Walker and Obama simultaneously? Incumbentists?

2012-06-05 11:56:51 PM
The taking heads on CNN and Fox claiming that this has any implications on November is a moron, there's no correlation. In fact if there's any correlation at all, it's a negative one. We had a Republican Governor here in CT for 2 decades, but Republican Presidential candidates here haven't even come close to winning since Bush in '88.

2012-06-05 11:57:00 PM
I've got friends and family in WI that love the guy because he's stickin' it to those fatcat public unions.

My mom, who criticizes Obama for being "too divisive," loves Walker.

Sigh.

2012-06-05 11:57:09 PM
I'm interested to see how this works out. The conservatives get to test their theories, sort of like a lab experiment.

Walker told me I have aids

2012-06-05 11:57:18 PM
Thank god.

That other thread was composting.

Interesting source for this story. Out of all the sources I expected to see, KING 5 from Seattle was far down the list.

All it did was remind me of the one reason why I wouldn't like in the Northwest:

king.bimedia.net

Too cloudy and rainy. Too much like London.

And as far as the recall election...meh, shiat happens

For all the "ZOMG SUKC IT LIBBYS" from the other thread, I wonder what the reaction would be if the results were reversed.

2012-06-05 11:57:35 PM
I guess Wisconsinites sort of deserve it.

Of course, the tens of millions of dollars from out of state probably helped Walker.

But still, you deserve what you voted for.

Cheers!

I am so happy I will never have to work in Nazi-occupied Wisconsin. Actually, I already laughed in the face of one recruiter who tried to get me to move there. I can only assume that whatever pay and benefits that company promised would disappear once they hired me.

I expect this thread to be full of rational discourse marked by civility and mutual respect.

Nah, who am I kidding. The lot of ya will act like either farking crybabies or smug asshats.

If Americans are dumb enough to elected Bush for a second time, then it shouldn't be too surprising that Walker would remain.

Getting a big bowl of popcorn for the flame wars tonight. Getting flame proof skivvies out of storage. Gonna need 'em now for sure.

/Libs tears are very sweet.
//Union organizers tears are even sweeter after throwing millions into trying to over throwing a democratic process.
///In November Lib's tears will flow so strong that we may become the #1 exporting country of sweeteners.

2012-06-06 12:00:18 AM
As a practical matter only, the union's strategy of being an arm of the Democratic Party and dumping on Repubs constantly has proven to be a bit of a failure in this case. The Unions should have been lobbying for their workers and handing out cash to all incumbents rather than tanking for one party.

Bad political strategy...union leaders fail their members. So sad.

2012-06-06 12:00:26 AM
Is there any reason why another recall can't be started?

Even if he remains in office, it would be fun to see him subjected to a recall election on a yearly basis.

2012-06-06 12:00:28 AM
I heard there was rampant voter suppression and other forms of election fraud.

/Because that's what the losers always say. It's never that they had a poor idea/candidate to start with.

Great news! Go away old school liberals who think we live in the post-war America. It's time to move one.
