Is that where you [Redacted] in his or her [Redacted] while you [Redacted] [Redacted] [Redacted] in their [Redacted]?

They could balance the budget if they just cut Christie's personal food expenditures.

I thought a New Jersey comeback would be like " Hey! I got your economy right here", while grabbing your crotch.

It's being weighed down by something.

Chris Christie is the Rex Ryan of politicians. Lots of loud talk and bluster, few accomplishments to back it up.

the only thing he knows about comeback, is coming back to the buffet line for 5ths.

That is below the belt.

That... okay, maybe Rex earned that last season.

That's ok. Gov. Bacala still has a few inches of gunt below his belt to protect himself from low blows.

He has better health care coverage than any 5 Farkers in this thread, combined. I wouldn't worry about his health.

What about his mental health? Not being able to see your ding dong can take a toll on a man.

He sees plenty of ding-dongs, if you ask me

/seriously, I think he was counting on his own twinkie and snowball consumption to boost the economy

A man can see all the ding dongs in the world, but none of them will ever replace the one he grew up with.

It's funny 'cos the side that's obsessed with tax cuts is accusing the other side of being obsessed with tax increases - I guess that's why they call it the Laugher curve.

Christie will just make it a 20% tax cut rather than a 10% cut to make up for the shortfall in revenue.

As someone who has recently moved to NJ, the only good thing I can say about Chris Christie is "At least he's not as evil as Tom Corbett."

I don't think, anyway.

I really hope he doesn't prove me wrong.

Huh, GOP economic policies plunge another state into the crapper. I just don't understand how anyone could claim to see that as a logical outcome.

Shout louder and maybe toss in a couple crude innuendos, Chris. That should do it!

Just today, my wife got a fundraising letter from Chris Christie and his New Jersey Comeback initiative. Considering she is 1) a registered Democrat, and 2) a lifelong resident of California, we found this a bit odd.

New Jersey has the highest income taxes and the highest property taxes in the nation. It also has a high per capita income and high property values. And they still can't get their shiat together.

jigger: New Jersey has the highest income taxes and the highest property taxes in the nation. It also has a high per capita income and high property values. And they still can't get their shiat together.

Problem w/property taxes is, as has been said in many places, Jersey is full of many tiny municipalities that each have their own government (though some share services and schools). If we could merge a lot of these smaller municipalities, there would probably be some cost savings and lower property taxes.

Oh, and all the high income people tend to keep to themselves and not give much care to how their local governments work. In my observation, most people with high incomes around North Jersey barricade themselves behind some nice high wall and only venture out to go into NYC for fun or work, their kids in private schools, and not much participation otherwise.

They spend about 24k per pupil per year in AC high schools.....should we throw more money at the problem and expect better results? What sort of results does your school district get for the money they spend per pupil?

Corruption is expensive

The unions
The crooked adminsitrators and board members
Sweetheart contracts
overcharging contractors
expensive benefits
no one "cares" about the education of the students, just how much they can steal
