Well, a deadmoran headline with zero comments and no votes. At least it's comforting to know the mod himself is a troll.

But he's right. Obama won't make a difference. Walker will blow up all on his own.

How much have the unions spent on this single recall election? 50, 75, 100 million so far?

How much have business groups spent on this single recall election? Three, four, five times what the unions have?

I was under the impression that it was more like 1/7? About 4 million dollars TOTAL on the Dem side.

How much have the Koch brothers and various out-of-state interests spent on this single recall election to keep Walker in power?

I believe it is higher than a 1/5 ratio. Early in the recall effort, months ago, the ratio was akin to 20/1.

WRONG you TROLL.

62 million total has been spent.

Unions have spent 42 million of that.

lol 2 to 1 and unions are still gonna lose. They really know hoe to waste money don't they...

This is a very scary graph. Because it shows that Wisconsin's corporate interests are all in the tank for Walker. Walker's instate donors are MORE than the combined total the Dems can muster. And it doesn't even touch the right-wing money he is getting from all around America.

It's certainly not 2 to 1. In fact, the ratio is closer to my stated 5 to one.

But whatever helps you sleep tonight as you unmake or democracy.

Because it's very important for the Republican propaganda that Walker's victory is a resounding Wisconsin grassroots effort, not a huge spending blast by rich people from out of state.

Yep, because having power bought instead of genuinely voted for throws a monkey wrench in the whole "America and apple pie" narrative.

You do know that those "Walker is spending more" charts we've been seeing are just the direct "pro-election" costs, right? They don't count the $15 million spent on buying the recall election in the first place, or any of the "get out the union vote" spending since - the total campaign is HUGE. $60 million by the unions is probably an understatement.

Heck, national Democrats are whining because they think the massive union spending on this race is going to cause serious damage to Obama in November - because the unions won't have a big enough bank account to fund the Democrats at a national level.

Surely it would be trivial to provide a shred of supporting evidence.

The best way for breitbart to stop getting greened is the same way we stopped getting LGF greens: they have to become sane. Sane doesn't mean alot of traffic.

In fact, hasn't breitbart been greened MORE since he died?

It will never happen, but this country would be much better off if we could ditch the private donations and just go with completely public-funded campaigns.
