LIBS BAD

2012-06-05 11:52:09 AM
If Wisconsin keeps Walker in they deserve anything and everything that happens to them.

2012-06-05 11:53:46 AM
This is a bad idea?

2012-06-05 11:54:08 AM
In a state where the election official can just happen to "find" thousands of extra, uncounted votes that change the result of an election? This seems like a completely reasonable state of affairs.

Stop paying attention to our attempt to steal this election - the evil libs are stealing the election!

I keep hearing how voter fraud must be dealt with to ensure our elections are fair...making sure the ballots are accurately counted must be equally important, right?

Pretty sure if Walker wins he'll go into maximum overtroll mode. As someone not from Wisconsin, I kind of want to see it happen.

It's almost as if the Dems are expecting blatant election shenanigans from the GOP or something.

Just like you deserved everything you got during the Bush years, right? It's such a weird philosophy, but I guess it's easy to overlook that when you are talking about what someone else deserves.

If the last couple statewide elections are an indication, they'll need a lot more than that.

MOTHERFARKIN' THIS ^. I have absolutely no pity for a state that willingly votes for a teabagger not once, but twice. That Walker's leading the polls at all is telling. Wisconsin citizens should stop their whining and get rid of the guy, but it looks like he's going to pull through this.

The Department of Justice is monitoring this election so I wonder if the GOP will find 10000 votes that were misplaced this time?

Yeah, contesting an election in which Walker is expected to win by 2-4 points. Good use of money.

Well, at least the dems have FINALLY figured out how to create jobs - hire lawyers!

2012-06-05 11:58:56 AM
The WI GOP has a poll worker that has repeatedly "found" giant bags full of votes for republicans, so perhaps some lawyers are prudent.

regindyn: Pretty sure if Walker wins he'll go into maximum overtroll mode.

Otherwise known as "business as usual for the last 18 months". Plus he has to get the one halfway respectable republican in the state senate (Dale Schultz) to go along with him, or if any of the GOP senators on the block today get rolled he'll have to get around a Dem majority in the senate.

People like Walker don't seem to realize that after a certain point, you leave yourself with nothing to threaten people with. I find it hard to believe that, had we not gone through with the recall, his "governance" would be any different.

Alex Jones? Really?

Alex Jones claims Bilderberg attendees eat ' roasted babies wrapped in gold foil'
"Every week they catch them shipping little babies wrapped in gold foil for these guys to eat. They admit that's where it goes to, I'm not making this up."

(Madeleine Morgenstern) Last month, police in Thailand arrested a British citizen after six roasted fetal corpses were found in his luggage. The bodies were believed to be between two and seven months old, according to the Guardian. Some were plated in gold leaf, apparently for use in black magic rituals.

Outside the annual Bilderberg meeting in Virginia on Thursday, Alex Jones of Infowars accused attendees of possessing the same thing - to eat.

Video posted online captured Jones shouting into a bullhorn outside the meeting place, claiming Bilderberg members "ship in roasted babies wrapped in gold foil for them to eat" - and making it clear he wasn't kidding.

It's gonna be CLOSE. Any crazy vote counting shenanigans aside(which is a possibilty in WI unfortunately), both sides are expecting it to come down to recounts.

If you think the Democrats are the only side with a small army of attorneys on standby you really don't understand this recall election.

Attorneys that they will, of course, be willing to use regardless of who wins, right? Because of course the arguments are over actual electoral problems and not pure politics.

I expect both sides to have lawyers ready to go.

Wisconsin should have invited the UN to watch the election, but you know, that probably would have driven Republican turnout because "OOOGA BOOGA UNITED NATIONS!!!!!"

Yes actually. I didn't like his policies, but he was our president. The rules we agreed to govern our selves by gave him the ability to make the policies that I didn't like. So, in my opinion, because Americans make the rules to govern ourselves and our leaders, we absolutely get the government we deserve.

I'd like to think America as a whole got what it deserved. Just like Wisconsin will. Individual voters, not necessarily. But the entity itself. Isn't democracy grand?

I though there was an expected increase in voter turn out based on the petitions. People who haven't voted in the past were planning on coming out to the polls because emotions were high in both the R and D camps.
