I'm familiar with Elkridge, Maryland. I'm surprised it was only meth.

If meth was part of the breakfast than we are really talking about a 24hr breakfast place, right. What would be the point of the beds? Leave the meth breakfast to the IHOP people who have it under control.

Amateurs, around here they're liable to set a lab up in the stairwell and come back when it's finished. Cheaper than paying for a room I guess....

On the plus side, you'll never have bed bugs feed on you. You'll see them all over the walls, but you'll be alert for battle.

I hate the continental breakfast. It took me a long time to realise this. It sounds like something wonderful and sophisticated and, well, continental. And it's often expensive, which adds to the anticipation.

Then you get it and learn that the continental breakfast is the shiat breakfast. One croissant or bagel or maybe a muffin plus three limp melon slices and one very sad slice of orange next to a tiny cup of juice and a small cup of watery coffee.

shiat breakfast.

This is a breakfast:

If that black puck is blood pudding, I'll stick with my steak and eggs.

No bacon, two different kinds of spongy weird shiat, beans, and half a tomato.. Yum yum..

Anybody else notice that the guy they interviewed as a guest was actually arrested as one of the cooks?

Horseshiat! There is no cook needed for a continental breakfast.

I stayed at the nicest Holiday Inn in downtown the other day and they didn't have free breakfast. In fact, it was $8 for juice and a bagel. I could have gotten another hotel for literally 1/3rd of the cost that had free breakfast.

Bacon is on the right side. Your spongy weird shiat are fried slices of black pudding and haggis.

The stewed tomato admittedly is revolting and is best thrown at someone you do not like.

Then that is the saddest bacon I've ever seen in my life. I wanna take it out back and put a bullet in it to end it's suffering...

ms_lara_croft: I'm familiar with Elkridge, Maryland. I'm surprised it was only meth.

The hotel is in the new part of town. People in the old part of town generally stick to growing pot, making pipe bombs, and distilling stuff in the back yard car.

/The front yard car is for decoration, a sort of Elkridge garden gnome.

Ah, you know Elkridge well. The pipe bombs always make a big call around the 4th of July. At least the prostitutes stay on Pulaski Highway in Baltimore County. LOL

I grew up in Elkridge and my parents still live there. It's changed a lot since the days when all we had there was the IGA food market, the drive-in, and the Dog House, but the core traits are still well represented in parts of town. :)

/First curved railroad bridge in North America; holla!
