FlashHarry: Don't Troll Me Bro!: Chindit: Oh, as to the dirty trick of the day, if you are so uninformed about the process that you fall for this, maybe you shouldn't vote...

And there it is. "They were stupid enough to believe my lies. Hahahahahaaa." Go fark yourself, filth.

in another redlit thread on this, a GOP shill simply denied that it happened. so you might see that, too.

My roommate received one of those calls right in front of me, so anyone that I see just denying it happened will join ballsack0bama, skinnhead, tenpoundsofbullshiat, and the others that I have determined aren't worth the space their crap takes up on my screen.

It's like someone denying the holocaust; once they do that you know they're a bald-faced liar, so there's no reason to listen anything they ever say again.

Oh, there is an independent candidate, so that should be the spoiler.
But who will he spoil?

So, just wondering, what Wisconsin-made products should I quit buying should that asshole be elected again?

JerseyTim: Nate Silver has Scott Walker at 95%. Book it. Done.

Yeah, not holding out much hope for this one. Hopefully it'll be a slim margin at least.

I believe that Walker and Kleefish are likely to hold on to their jobs, but what about Fitzgerald? He's up too, isn't he?

A safe bet.

It is very telling that the dems stopped campaigning with cries of union destruction, due to walkers policies working, and shifted to other issues like the war on women. The whole reason the recall was started has been pushed to the background because democrats realized it was a losing issue. This recall is now essentially a mulligan for a lost election. Sad really, liberals can't even campaign on their convictions for 2 years. Fark liberal meltdown in a few hours.

Voting as soon as I'm done with work. Anecdotal, yes, but a whole slew of people I know that don't usually vote are heading to the polls today. Wish they had voted in the first place. Let this be a lesson, fellow Wisconsinites.

Oh, just wait till whoever involved discovers that rigging elections in a traceable way is a good way to earn a few years of an all expense paid visit to the PMITA prison. A similar robo-call was made by a republican consultant during Maryland's election for governor. They had not thought their cunning plan all of the way through.

2012-06-05 12:46:07 PM
Hmmm, vote for the interests of the rich or the interests of workers?

Yeah, that's a real tough choice.

Disgusting - just what I've come to expect from today's GOP.

Maybe this will soothe your butthurt. Here's one of our local (D) politicians caught red handed distributing flyers designed to look like they were put out by his opponent.

Dirty political acts are the only truly bipartisan act you see these days.

I find it funny that all of the Republitrolls are out early with their "Nothing to see here" flags.

If the outcome of the election was all that obvious, why are we talking about it?

dr_blasto: I believe that Walker and Kleefish are likely to hold on to their jobs, but what about Fitzgerald? He's up too, isn't he?

Yes, there are also 4 Senate recall elections today. Fitzgerald is one, and probably the least likely to go down. One of them is actually an open seat because Pam Galloway has already resigned, but claimed that she was confident that she would have retained her seat.

2012-06-05 12:53:13 PM

Chindit: Walker will retain, the Republicans will gloat, the talk radio crowd will crow, The unionistas will circle up and blame something else (outside money, voter interference) and David Axelrod will look even more like Gene Wilder in"Young Frankenstein".

Oh, as to the dirty trick of the day, if you are so uninformed about the process that you fall for this, maybe you shouldn't vote...

That's illegal electioneering under Wisconsin law.

12.05 False representations affecting elections. No
person may knowingly make or publish, or cause to be made or
published, a false representation pertaining to a candidate or referendum
which is intended or tends to affect voting at an election.

The problem is every lib that is motivated to vote against Walker is going to be swamped out by idiots who think they can only vote for Republicans and any Republican under threat has to be rescued. To do so is to store up treasures in heaven.

2012-06-05 12:54:59 PM
Cast my vote at 8am today. There was actually a small line, where I usually never have to wait. Someone brought their kids and was taking pictures.

2012-06-05 12:55:23 PM
The precincts have incredibly long lines. The new Wednesday make-up voting opportunities are a godsend. Wait until tomorrow, the lines will be much shorter.

Absolutely, but the question is whether he's going to win fairly or by cheating.

//Republican, Democratic or otherwise.

2012-06-05 12:58:06 PM
I realize this doesn't fit the "it's obvious that Walker is going to win" narrative, but polling places are being swamped, and having to order additional ballots.

But seriously, non-event here. Move on with your day.

I was # 801 at 10:15 this morning. I've never had to wait in line for a non-presidential election before. Yeah, Walker will likely hold his job, having outspent Barrett by 7-to-1, not to mention the dirty tricks that the sh*t-souled people here are defending. But that's the way it goes.

Common Wisconsin! Time to fire Walker.

//you and O'Keefe making up the majority of that.
