Ronin_S: One of my friends absolutely loves Pretty Woman. My other friend and I thought it was the dumbest movie ever and were trying so hard not to laugh through the whole thing. We came from cultures that had a history of arranged marriages and saw what our grandmothers went through, probably giving us a more cynical view on love and marriage.

I have a harder time believing that there are johns out there that look/act like Richard Gere's character than believing that there are prostitutes out there that look/act like Julia Roberts' character.
