Yes, but what about Romney XP? Or even Romney 7?

2012-06-04 09:12:26 AM
The problem is that by November 2.0 through 7 will be obsolete, and we'll be looking at service pack 2 on Rv9... so no one knows what it will look like.

We can be sure it will have a slick interface though.

2012-06-04 09:19:19 AM
He needs to follow Apples example and come out with the 'New Romney'.

2012-06-04 09:52:13 AM
I bet hipster will love Romney DOS.

2012-06-04 09:52:22 AM
Romney's favorable rating among Americans has jumped from 34% in February to 48% now

One can only expect that Romney should achieve a full 108% favorable rating by the election.

2012-06-04 09:52:46 AM
RomnME sucks. RomXP is okay but it's pretty much a copy of O(bama) SX

The news cycle must be fed. Immediately after the inauguration speculation on 2016 will start.

2012-06-04 09:53:26 AM
If you talked to 100 people on the street, I wonder how many people even know who the republican nominee is at this point.

Romney very boring and the Alaskan baked tard poisoned the well for any "exciting" vp that might get some headlines.

2012-06-04 09:53:52 AM
When they finally come out with the quantum version of Romney, it will simultaneously be more popular and less popular than Obama at the same time.

2012-06-04 09:54:35 AM
Polls don't matter unless they favor your preferred operating system.

Glicky: The news cycle must be fed. Immediately after the inauguration speculation on 2016 will start.

Lies. They will talk about "The first 100 days", followed by a debt ceiling crisis, then midterm elections.

Speculation? I wouldn't be surprised to see exploratory committees form. 2016 is even more wide open than 2008.

"More than two-thirds of those under 30 have a favorable view of Obama, compared to only four-in-ten who feel that way about Romney."

four-in-ten = 40%
More than two-thirds = > 66.6%

That's at least 106.6%

Doesn't anyone do math anymore?

Americans are finally beginning to see through the clutter that there are two fine candidates for president.

November's vote should be close.

I have been enjoying Romney 12: Precise Penis Shirt though.

Obviously people can't have a favorable view of both Obama and Romney.

The problem with the GOP is they think they are making Romney XP or Romney 7, when they're really producing Romney Vista, or even the dreaded Romney ME.

You're looking at the favourables of Romney and Obama - two separate questions.

Seems like we are stuck with Romney Vista.

Now that Rmoney has aligned himself with fellow Morman ex-Utah Gov Leavitt, he should take the election hands down.

Unless it's Obama. Then it will be discussion of dreams reignited, lame duck president and Joe Biden/Hilary Clinton.

So? People like Oprah have a high favorability rating - doesn't mean that people would want her as President.

Besides, Romney has gone from 34 to 48 so as the campaign continues the numbers will continue to change.

I know, it's Monday. People can have of a favorable view of both candidates, though I imagine those people to be woefully uninformed.

Yes, you didn't use logic though. The numbers given are of a set that allows overlap.

Mighty Taternuts: People can have favorable views of Obama and Romney.

Honestly, that possibility never occurred to me.

I figured the only people with a favorable view of Romney was the wargarble Anybody-but-Obama birther crowd. I mean why else would you like that guy??

(Then again Maude Flanders preferred unflavored ice milk.)

Until the Service Pack upgrade for RMoney 3.0 comes out, the release will be pretty buggy. And I'm pretty sure Auto Update was disabled, so unless someone turns it back on there's bound to be some unanticipated reboots and system freezes from time to time.

That headline would have the word "landslide" somewhere in it. Oprah would end up with something like 95% of the women vote.

You really want to go with that one eh? The economy is much much better than the day Obama took office and much better than anyone could hope of expect with an opposition actively (and quite openly) working to ensure even further economic destruction.

Stick with the wedge social issues. It's pretty much the only things that GOP has any hope of staying relevant on, and that's only because their mouth breathing supporters will happily ignore the hypocrisy of most of their social platform. They have proven themselves not to be trusted with economic issues, domestic issues, foreign relations, or defense.

The GOP's only hope is continue to trot out the old stand by's: gay marriage ban; abortion ban; flag burning ban; immigration ban; English as official language and last but not least the erosion of rights of women, minorities and religions not identical to their own.

One of the best things about commentary here on Fark is how little it represents American public opinion. Just from reading this site, you'd think BO is going to win in a landslide election, Scott Walker is the devil, gay marriage, machine guns, and marijuana are all totally legal, and cocaine is a helluva drug. Yet, we know that in the real world that is all a bunch of nonsense, except for the cocaine thing.

The change in Rmoney's favorables is all due to life-long Republicans holding their noses as they fall in line.

Rmoney needs to issue an update patch to get all platforms up to the same version. It's annoying when programmers have to test across a dozen different versions of the Android OS.
