The interesting thing is, when the media blew up over Rush Limbaugh, Maher defended him in a well-thought out piece where he made a HELL of a lot of sense.

Funny thing about that story. Everyone was calling for Limbaugh's head. They stayed the course. Everyone forgot about it.

IMPORTANT LESSON TO LEARN FOR ALL YOU PENCIL PUSHERS IN RADIO. False outrage eventually goes away.

It could also be that Seinfeld wants the team outright. But I think he's also friends with the Wilpons, so who knows. But Jerry definitely has the clout and the money to lead an ownership group if he wants to.
