I am incredibly glad that line is very early on in the article. Because most other attempts at scientific journalism try to frame everything they write about as the next miraculous amazing stupendous discovery of our age. This is much more tepid and realistic description and more in line with how science actually operates. Kudos to the author for making sure to keep that perspective throughout the article.
