AbiNormal: Someone showed me a picture one time that said "You can scare me, I drive a Ford Pinto!" Which I found very funny because I learned how to drive in a Pinto station wagon.

My first car (in 1987) was a '76 Ford Pinto with a salvage title. It was not the original color, and it already had a huge dent in the middle of the rear bumper. Great conversation starter.

Saw this in Philly, Bad picture, but the Pick-up was actually broken in half under the weight of the electric motor.....which was held in place with inch wide cargo straps.

A house a couple of blocks away from me has a couple of those tie down straps holding a split tree from falling on the house. I am occasionally happen by the house to see when those straps will fail.

I was wondering about that myself. Not being allowed to dangerously transport massive tanks of propane is kinda-sorta an important thing to enforce. That van looked like it could have fallen apart at any moment.

my brother and I call people like this gypsies. They will load damn near any amount of junk into any vehicle, put one bungee strap on it and call it a day. Then they get on I-10 or I- 45 and have no problem doing 70 mph while drinking a tall boy with little regard for junk falling out or other's vehicles.
