Victorian novel from from where he came? Don't you think that's a bit redundant, subby? I bet you also think wherefore just means where, don't you?

McCotter? I hardly knew her.

I'd heard here on Fark that a write-in wouldn't be allowed anyway.

Priceless. It appears that most of the signatures on his petitions were fraudulent, and his response is, "I am shocked, shocked and dismayed that there is fraud going on in this election!" And he's determined to find out who is responsible for this fraud! But he can't right now because he has important work to do cleaning up the mess that Fartbong0 has created! But he will look into it! He will look into it! He doesn't understand how it could have happened! He wants a thorough investigation! This is why we need voter ID! Etc.!!!11

Protip: Hipsters will now find all of your "Vote for Thaddeus" t-shirts ironic. You can hawk them out of the trunk of your car. It's not like you'll have much else to do. And it beats working at McDonald's. K Street returned your call, the message was, and I quote, "Bwahahahaha!"

/welcome to the working week, Thaddeus

One of my favorite things about Fark is the free legal advice you can get here. Why waste money on a law-talking-guy?

Oh and hey Michiganders, did you know that thanks to the Republicans, Redford and some of the GPs are in the same skinny as hell district, as is NE Detroit and Grosse Ile /Trenton (that's NE, not SW).

Amazing tax dollars at work just to get rid of Peters.

I'm glad this was already covered. "From whence" is exactly as grating as "to whither" would be.

The Michigan Democratic Party is going to make a play for the seat. McCotter won by 10 points as an incumbent, but now that the seat is open and only an unknown is on the ballot that makes it a harder seat to defend. Republicans will have to spend money when they are already struggling with getting Romney popular and their birther Senate candidate having no chance.

The Michigan Democrats are gloating about it. This is

This is the district I nominally live in. It's been a weird year for my Congressman, with his run for the presidency and now this. The likely race is shaping up to be a Vietnam vet teaparty-type teacher from Oakland County and a doctor and member of the board of trustees from Canton. It'll probably be a rout by the Republicans since the likely Democrat looks like this:

/misses the wonderful racism of Metro Detroit people
//not really
