MadAzza: Between this and your masterful trolling last night, I think I'm falling in love.

This was supposed to be in response to impremere.

Also, farktards, it's a microwave OVEN, not a "microwave."

And jaylectricity. It's "Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?"

Oh, there's more. I'll be back after I close the silverware drawer that my idiot roommate left a half-inch open, right before he put a glass with 1/2 inch of Diet Coke in it in the sink. God damn it.

imprimere

I did that on purpose. And ironically.

I'm wearing a Skyhawk AT, so I really, really do know what time it is.

And it's not Howdy Doody Time.

I used to be in a car pool.
There was one guy who's hood ornament would mysteriously end up rotated about 1/8th from its normal position.
He couldn't go five minutes after noticing it without pulling over and re-aligning it.

Did anyone notice that the pills in #4 are actually symmetrical?

I think I would exacerbate the microwave situation by leaving exactly 1:98 on the clock.

\"It's not supposed to work that way!"
\Yes, but it does.

Pity the ornament-turner never had the nerve to turn it round a full 180...

As someone living with actual, debilitating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, it continues to annoy me how many people just don't understand what it is, or think its cute, or like to say things such as "OMG I'm so OCD cuz I like to vacuum!" or "I have to eat all the blue ones first cuz I'm OCD like that." I blame TV. I just wish the trend would go away. I wouldn't let it bother me so much except, well...letting things go is not really a strong point for OCD'ers, now is it?

It sucks. Paralyzing fears and phobias, panic attacks, uncontrollable rituals that will literally take over your life, having random meltdowns over what should be normal everyday things. Not to mention that OCD has a tendency to spawn off into other psychological conditions, such as hoarding or extreme social anxiety, germophobia, etc. Its not just being a neat freak, or a grammar nazi, or something like that.

Anyways, some of the stuff on the list would bother me in real life but not in the format of the list itself (of course, being on medication probably helps that). What bothered me more than anything was the oversimplification of OCD. This stuff would bother anyone that was a tidy person or had an eye for design and lists like this just add to the growing pop culture trend of misunderstanding the disorder.

*steps off the soapbox*
