I'm still not sure that Ryan Dunn is really dead. These jackass guys are freaking invincible!

I'm forwarding this to my brother, we hate bam, but he looks just like him. Drunk d-bags in the bar have thought he was bam, and have approached him. It's gotten so bad he tries to pretend he's never heard of him to try and defuse the fury and awkwardness.

I like how that article became a sympathy article about Ryan Dunn

Hmm I only see about 3 Kardashian stories out of the 20 or so recent ones on the sidebar. I guess the Queen is the one person in the world that's considered more important.

Oh, and to be on topic Bam is a tool.

What a Jackass!

What waterfall was that? The bottom pic looks like it was taken at Multnomah Falls, but that's well over 100 ft (quick google: 620 ft). Probably in that area, though.

As for Bam Margera, I really have no feelings about him one way or the other. If he wants to do these crazy stunts, that's fine. If he get's himself killed doing them, that's fine too. I do feel kind of bad for that dude his friend killed in the car crash, though. But dude got in a car with a drunk jackass guy, so I guess he cannot be held totally blameless.

Huh. I haven't heard anything on the local news.

Multnomah Falls?

FTA: "Bam was left devastated last year when his close friend and Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn, 34, was killed."

C'mon... it's not like any of these fools are going to die of old age.

When you perform idiotic stunts, you need to prepare for the inevitable

He's always seemed to me to be the kind of kid who wants or needs to be the center of attention, always gets what he wants, and will IMMEADIATELY turn into a whiny biatch when things don't go exactly right.

I saw an episode once (hangover cure) wherein he wanted to drop a piano on a car- he didn't seem to realize that this was a stunt that would require advance planning and preparation. Throughout the show, he's seen flitting about impatiently, looking like he's about to throw a tantrum, while the piano is strapped into a harness, strategically sawed in places to make the "smash" more dramatic, hoisted, etc. When they finally dropped the damn thing, it essentially bounced off the roof of the car, shed a few panels, and fell on the ground. The camera pans to Bam, who has a "Seriously? All that prep for that lame ass stunt?" look on his face, but then realizes he's making a TV show, and needs to pretend this is how he WANTED it to happen- so he breaks into his "OMFG DID U SEE THAT IT WAS SO FN AWESOME YEAAAAAHHH" routine. It was more sad than anything else.

In conclusion, Bam was almost certainly the kind of person I hated most in high school, and would purposefully seek out to cap him first in a Columbine situation.

/every time he says "I do whatever the fark I want" I want to slap him in the face with a cactus

The 32-year-old is currently in hospital after kayaking off a 100-foot cliff in Oregon two days ago.

Well, *that* narrows it down.

Granted, not all of these waterfalls are 100 feet tall, but couldn't you give us a hint which one you were talking about?

how the heck can it not be determined if the pro kayaker who was in the tandem kayak with bam was injured or not? and i'd think someone who was called a pro in any sport or hobby wouldn't do stunts like this that tarnish it. if i was a professional kayaker i'd only do this if a wheelbarrow full of money was given to me and even then i'd realize i'm burning bridges behind me.

Of course it is. I firmly believe that the so-called gravitational attraction that objects feel is merely a manifestation of intelligent falling.

Yeah, it's at Multnomah Falls. I took a picture from the spot where he's standing last time I was there (the bottom of the upper falls). If he went over the lower falls, it's only 70 feet (and the article says the falls he went over were 100), so maybe he went over a different one that's nearby?

That's what it looked like to me. My son told me that he was in Oregon a few days ago and had got a new tattoo from a local artist that my son is friends with.

So far none of the articles I'm finding via google say where this happened.

I always wished it was Bam that had died in a car crash instead of Dunn. Dunn at least seemed to be a decent enough guy, but I can't think of a time where Bam didn't seem to be a monumental douche bag. I made the mistake of catching a few hours of Vive La Bam a few years back and it only reinforced my opinion.

The funniest Jackass bits are the ones where they make Bam cry with snakes.
