(ok magazine)   Teen Mom show will go out "with a bang" in its final season. Wait, isn't that how the show came about in the first place?   (okmagazine.com) divider line 19

So will the girls be doing spinoffs?

How many animal sacrifices are required to ensure this never happens?

This is pretty much the same lame joke used in a headline a few days ago. Subby needs originality.

I've only seen Teen Mom as part of Season IV of Beavis & Butthead. It seems to be a cartoonish show about stupid losers designed to make your feel good about the stupid losers in your family and life--just like the first three seasons. I don't know much about Teen Mom.

I prefer cartoons to reality--they're much less idiotic. And to think that I used to think Ann Landers and Dear Abby were full of letters from idiots. They were sisters you know.

I wonder if putting the lumpenproletariat on TV and mocking them is a healthy social development. Reminds me a bit too much of Fahrenheit 451. These people do not need to be anybody's role models.

Make yourself useful: memorize one of the great books. BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

It makes you wonder, who memorized 1984?

I personally can't wait for 27 Year Old Grandmothers, myself.

"I feel like in this season you finally see us as adults."

Seems somewhat unlikely, but given there's a kid who potentially won't grow up to be a failure at stake I'm going to genuinely hope that you're correct there.

Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: I personally can't wait for 27 Year Old Grandmothers, myself.

Did they actually accept people as young as 13 on the show? Are there not laws regarding profiting from the commission of a felony on the books wherever they're filming?

Hopefully it'll end with a different kind of "bang".

I never cared for the concept from the beginning, I thought it would encourage teen pregnancy. Then I saw the girls were getting paid a pretty good chunk of money, were appearing on grocery store magazine covers, doing episodes about breast enhancements and became TMZ-esque 'celebritards'. Yeah, THAT's totally gonna discourage teen pregnancy.

Except for the fact that teen pregnancy rates have dropped since the show aired in 2009.

If you have seen the show, you'd know that any girl would be horrified to be in the same situation. None of their stories end well.

If a girl sees those shows and says "babymaking will make me a star!", she wasn't exactly Rhodes Scholar material anyway.

If anything, Bristol Palin is more likely to make teen girls believe teen pregnancy is good.
