IIRC, they were both at a bar and Axl moved Hilfiger's girlfriend's drink so it wouldn't fall. Hilfiger got in his face and then attacked him, which oddly means Axl was not the douche in that scenario.

I enjoy some olf GnR as much as the next 80's guy but why anyone would pay to see just the singer (who was never all that great at singing) and a backup band is really beyond me.
I wouldn't go see Vince Neil without the other Motley guys, or Steven Tyler without Aerosmith...just, who cares?

By contrast, I've seen Machine Head live twice, and those guys are complete professionals: on time, on point, sober, and generally appreciative of their fans. Axl could take notes from the younger Robb Flynn.

While I do agree with your comment about Billy Baily,I do have to throw out names like Roger Waters or Roth ,Hagar, Tom Petty, Joan Jett I could go on. Point is being is that there are some good singers from the 80's that a lot of us would like to see even if its a solo thing. Altho Vince's solo thing was lacking desire.
