I could do that with a shell script in less time.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, authorities said.

*Checks wallet* Whew. Not me. One suspect down, only tens of millions more to go. Did he kneel with his head on his fist after each heist? Maybe we can get Tebow off the list, too.

Once Ted Bundy kidnapped, raped, sodomised, and murdered a young girl. Then later that day he kidnapped, raped, sodomised, and murdered another young girl. They were sourced in a park. Packed with hundreds of holiday makers.

Hello, I am a highly skiiled and prolific Bank Robber ande I can attest that the individual described in this "news article' is nothing more that ordinary riff-raff gutter trash.

His paltry taking were how much???
Do you even see the amount mentioned?

Why not??? Quite simply because it is not news worthy.
He got no more than $4,000, which is far less than my hourly income.

What these illiterate idiots can not seem to comprehend that retail level establishments offer nothing more than pocket change.

These degenerates are quite simply unworthy of the social-network myself and my fraternal brothers have cultivated over the last 2 centuries.

Suspect is hatless. I repeat: hatless.

Large crew.
Simultaneously set to go.
Large amount of flash bangs deployed at the same time.
Very low yield.

Banks aren't worth robbing. The ones small enough to not have an armed guard never have more than $10k on site.

I'm sitting here contemplating ways to abuse a bank to make money, and I realized a) it's easier to scheme a way to make legit money with a bank and b) people who rob banks suck at scheming.

I need to actually read some of these MBA books I sell. I need to see if this one scheme I just had would be feasible.

FTFA: But the crook ended his bank-robbing spree on a good note...

The NY Post is in favor of bank robbers!

if you get filthy rich somehow, the bank will give you whatever you want, that's the trick.

At least your reference was to a fun movie of decent quality that was just annoyingly superficial, I was going to reference an episode of "Leverage" and reveal how truly, abysmally shiat my taste in TV is.

Sounds like a bad idea.
If within 30 mins it means you have to hit banks that are close by.
So after hitting the first bank and you start on the second, the police going to the first bank will be close by and will detour to the second. Moreso on the third.

Granted. Though it sort of highlights how bad the show is that they have one decent actor and his direction is generally to just stand in the background and look menacing. The character is pretty bad, too, so I give him bonus points for somehow selling it.

But...I thought "Skills Like This" was set in Colorado, not New York.
Sequel, maybe?

/Why yes, I do have an indie movie nerd card dispensed by Netflix, why do you ask?

Multiple banks in the same day? It's been done before.

French bank robber/killer Jacques Mesrine, while on the lam in Montreal, would sometimes rob two banks in the same day.

In South Africa, former police officer Andre Stander robbed the same bank on the same day, after hearing on the radio that he missed a safe.

In Australia, on January 31, 1984, Hakki Bahadir Atahan was in the process of robbing his fourth bank that day in Sydney's CBD when the police cornered him. After a car chase/hostage situation, Atahan wound up dead...
