I worked for Comcast briefly between jobs and you think it's bad being a customer? Try working for this monstrosity. I was a customer service rep and I had to listen to people biatch and moan for eight hours per day. One guy demanded to know, "How would you feel if your cable was out??" I replied, "I don't have cable. I like to read."

He stammered for about a minute incredulously before hanging up.

What are they complaining about? The share holders were only promised up to one meeting that day.

It took 4 appointments and the district manager with two techs to make it out to my apartment to install my internet. The district manager was joking about how when it snowed they'd come install TV to replace my DirecTV. I just said, "Well, it took you four appointments and three guys. It took DirecTV one guy and 15 minutes." His response was "Wow, that HD picture is really good."

What a bullshiat site, "prevented justice for trayvon"? What propaganda bullshiat, let me guess this site is underwritten by the unions, wouldn't surprised me since comcast fought unions for years.

Comcast can eat my shiat. And when they are done eating my shiat they can shiat out my shiat and then eat the shiat that they shiat out that's made of my shiat.

For all the resources wasted on unionbusting, they could have that much better of a company.

Instead of trying to sue, delay or find some technicality to fire people who want unions, how about being the better competitor and improve morale such that one isn't necessary? Not only are the workers happier, they don't want to jump ship as much, the company's image is reversed, and (most importantly) the company is more profitable.

Treat workers like garbage, expect backstabby workers, incompetence, and churn.
Treat workers like an investment, and you end up attracting competent people to stay there longer.
