Yeah, we are finally green.
I was really having withdrawal.

FWIW - Withdrawal isn't a reliable method.

ok, dumb blonde here...
reliable method for what??
/what am I missing??

Oh sweetness! It is an unreliable method of birth control.

ya know, that never occurred to me.
sorry for being so naive, I guess.
never used that "method"

That's ok. I guess it is because I have a dirty mind or something. Or I have been around this group too long, or because had to have it explained to me enough times that it finally sunk in. ;D

//great that you never used that method----because it doesn't work!

Probably you are either too young or were not raised Roman Catholic. I "got it" as I'm old AND raised Catholic...

well, I am definitly not "too young", but I was not raised Catholic, so I'll use that as my excuse.

Don't worry. I was raised Catholic, and I'm 44. I still didn't get it. LOL Then again, I've been known to have teh derp . A lot.

When you were born "the pill" was still a relatively new development. We heard many words from parish priests, bishops, cardinals and the Pope on the subject of what was allowed and what was sinful in terms of birth control. So, yes I'm old (enough to easily be your mother!)

me, too. there's only a few of us in this age bracket on Caturday.

Pleased to see voties stacking up relatively early!
Grey & white cat with purple semi-diaper in Sickapie's post above rather resembles
the one visiting us these days.
Nuther cute young: Savannah, a Grevy's zebra, was born to Lainey Lyn (both shown it's hoped) at the Cincinnati Zoo on May 23. May is Zoo Babies month there; Savannah got to see the hoo-mons
just in time for end of it. Credit to Liz Dufour for the Enquirer.

Yeah, several of us commented on her grabbing the puma by the tail in the video thread. Not cool, IMHO, but some other posters in that thread thought we were overreacting.

Don't feel bad. I've been sick (double ear infections, the JOY!) so haven't been sleeping well at night. I had a bad case of the giggles summarizing a report at work where the source's name was spelled Maboob :p
