It just probably caught sight of a pair of huge mutton chops and 1890s mustache. It scared me as I pass through Portland today.

My snake has emotional problems.

He's shy.

A shy snake, he is.

I'm pretty sure if you admit that you "lost your snake" down town the police will put you on some sort of list.

/Not falling for that trick again

Corn snake. Pretty common as pet snakes go. Purty patterns especially on the albinos.

Damn, I am old. That was filmed when I lived in that neighborhood and strolled my daughter through the edge of the set. Yes, we have pics.

Ah, that would be why! (Reptile experience came from working in a zoo, so I never got to work with most of the usual pet types.) They certainly are pretty, tho, such a wide range of colors...

Thanks for the info, One Bad Apple, that was quick. :)

Considering how many people let their cats roam around because it's totally natural, maybe the hipsters can move up to anacondas and komodo dragons.

Komodo dragons would also solve the hipster problem.

Yup, and I'd be amazed if corn snakes weren't native to Portland. Unusual in-city, and since it's an albino, almost certainly a released pet, but still.
