Uhm, I don't really think CNN gives a shiat about Donald Trump's birther crap beyond the spectacle of the whole thing.

2012-05-31 03:45:38 PM
At that, the CNN anchor displayed images of Hawaii newspaper announcements printed days after Obama's purported birth.

Is it possible Obama was never actually born?! OMG!

2012-05-31 03:46:57 PM
CNN burned my toast.

It's pretty standard for journalists to not give their interviewees a list ahead of time of the questions they plan on asking

2012-05-31 04:04:19 PM
Trump, of course, being just off the turnip farm with not the slightest inkling of what it's like to be on the electrified talkin' box.

2012-05-31 04:17:43 PM
CNN set up Trump the same way they set up Palin: by giving him a platform from which to spew his crazy unscripted and unfiltered.

How dare that mainstream MSM media let people hear what Trump really thinks? That's biased against conservatives.

2012-05-31 04:32:56 PM
Didn't Trump just tell us this week how he's a really smart guy? You wouldn't think a really smart guy could be fooled like this

2012-05-31 04:33:16 PM
Ah. So Rush is why they won't and can't let go- at a national level.

Awesome. Lead em down, Rush. Lead em down ... into the ground.

Relatively Obscure: At that, the CNN anchor displayed images of Hawaii newspaper announcements printed days after Obama's purported birth.

Obama was the proto-type for holographic Tupac!

Trump WANTED to talk about that birther nonsense. Are you kidding me? All the newspaper headlines that Rush read out probably gave Trump an erection harder than advanced calculus. He WANTS to upstage Romney. He WANTS to be talked about. And he WANTS people to think about that idiotic birth certificate bullshiat.

I would not be surprised at all if during a pre-interview, Trump said "you can ask me all the questions you want, but I'm going to talk about what I want to talk about."

2012-05-31 04:40:42 PM

Relatively Obscure: Is it possible Obama was never actually born?! OMG!

You're thinking of Mitt Romney who was constructed, not born.

2012-05-31 04:44:18 PM
Honest to God, this is an accurate paraphrase, no joke:

"THE MSM REFUSES TO TALK ABOUT THIS!"

"OK, let's talk about it..."

"NO! WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT JOBS AND CHINA!"

"But then why are you talking about it?"

"MANY PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE VALIDITY OF HIS BIRTH CERTIFICT!"

"OK, you said many people, can you name one person?"

"I REFUSE TO NAME NAMES!"

"But this was settled last year, it's a little ridiculous..."

"NO YOU ARE."

And that last line is an actual quote in reply to Wolf Blitzer. What a f*cking cock-brained, egotistical bully. And the best part is he's not going away... oh no, after the way Mitt just opened up his arms for him, I'm sure we'll be hearing lots from him this election season.

Like any over inflated gasbag, Trump only talks about what he wants to talk about 24-7. He has created a world where no one ever tells him no. You cannot pin someone like that in a corner. If you try he simply ignores the question and pulls one of the many very lame debate tactics we are all very familiar here on fark. Ad hominem, strawman......you name it.

My favorite is when he acts offended that someone could ask such a question and attacks the person asking. The man worm has no honor and will say anything to get attention.

2012-05-31 04:50:40 PM
CNN: "Here's some rope."
Trump: "Thanks! Where's a tree?"
CNN: [points to nearest tree]

If that's what you mean by "set him up."

But as former Nixon aide G. Gordon Liddy once told me (and he should know!), the problem with government conspiracies is that bureaucrats are incompetent and people can't keep their mouths shut. Complex conspiracies are difficult to pull off, and so many people want their quarter hour of fame that even the Men in Black couldn't squelch the squealers from spilling the beans. So there's a good chance that the more elaborate a conspiracy theory is, and the more people that would need to be involved, the less likely it is true.

Link

It's unfortunate that Rush never had this Conservative hero on his show to discuss this.

Yes, a vast liberal conspiracy to let Republicans talk about what they think is important. I see how people like Rush Limbaugh don't like that. The GOP isn't big on talking about what they want to do or what they think is important. They just like to scream like a 2 year old that they don't like things.

FTFA: "Limbaugh then listed some of today's media headlines to prove his point."

What about that liberal giant mill, FOX? What was the story they ran with all day? Oh, that's right, they too went with how Trump upstaged Mitt.

You know it is good when it even fools FOX. Good thing RL is there to set us straight.

And since Trump is from Jamaica, Queens he can't let no West Coast hologram just step into the White House like that without putting up a fight; preferably a sideways gunfight.

From the donald - "And many people put those announcements in because they wanted to get the benefit of being so-called born in this country. Many people did it. It was something that was done by many people, even if they weren't born in the country. You know it, and so do I. And so do a lot of your viewers - although you don't have many viewers."

really? this is something ive never heard of happening.. anyone else? is there any evidence what so ever that this has ever actually happened? Please.. Donald.. give me the name of one person who has had their citizenship taken away because they were born in another country but received their citizenship based on a fraudulent birth announcement in the newspaper.. just one? anyone?

I think, for the good of the nation, Obama should get those skin treatments like Michael Jackson to make his skin whiter. Straighten his hair. Do it gradually, like over six months.

I think it would go a long way to alleviating the idiocy on the right.

Hey, Barry is a lot whiter than I remember. And Rush and Trump are bloviating jackasses! Why didn't I notice this before? Who the fark cares where Barry was born, his mother was a citizen, case closed!

"They don't tell Trump they're gonna to talk about the birther issue," he said.

"When they talked, nobody at CNN told Trump they were going to bring this up. They probably told Trump that they were going to talk about OPEC and China and jobs and the economy and the advice that he's giving. That's probably what they told him. That's how this stuff works.

So as a result, Trump was compelled by some kind on ancient curse to open his mouth as soon as the words 'Born in the United States' popped up? Nobody forced Trump to require oral Immodium AD yesterday, he did it

But he's like you, Rush, he can't STFU, no matter what bullshiat topic someone brings up. You farktards beat the Birther drum for years, and when it starts to bite you on the ass, then you get mad at people reminding people of what you've done, whether it's being a Birther like Trump, or being a doctor-shopping Oxy addict while stating that you think all drug addicts should be sent down the river.

Here is Limbaugh's "archives" for the day after Mitt clinched.

Let's see, "Media Begs Mitt to Denounce Trump, Rush"

"Trump Blasts Blitzer on Birther Interview"

I'm having a hard time finding Rush's great congratulations for Mitt and his big story on Mitt clinching. Maybe it's over here in "Quick Hits":

"Quick Hits Page
May 30, 2012

Home Sales Fall 5.5% ... Pennsylvania Democrat Switches Parties Over Obama Gay Marriage Stance ... ABC/WaPo Poll: Romney Up with Women ... Study: Overweight Women Still Seen as Fat After Weight Loss ..."

Nope, not there. Oh, wait, it must be this story about the Texas primary . . .

"Texas Twofer: Tea Partier Forces Runoff; Obama-Backed Congressman Loses Primary"

Nope. That's not it, either. Damn you CNN for setting a trap Limbaugh fell into!

Even as we speak, tens of thousands of Mexican kids' grandparents are calling the Tahoe Tribune, planting birth announcements for their little jumping beans*, just in case someday they might be in America and need to have their citizenship proven. And lo! there it will be! Little Juan or Maria was born in the Lake Tahoe Medical Center on just that day! Why has nobody ever thought of that before? Probably because it doesn't work that way; but never let truth get in the way of a great conspiracy theory.

*jumping bean = snowflake from a warmer climate, I guess.
