Hart maintained he had the right as a citizen to take the logs for free, but he lost repeated court appeals and never fully satisfied a court judgment in the case.

Hart maintains that both state and federal income taxes are unconstitutional. He stopped filing tax returns for three years in the 1990s while he unsuccessfully pressed a lawsuit arguing the federal income tax was unconstitutional. Since then, he's started paying again and maintains he's paid up, but both federal and state authorities dispute that."

Some googles and I found out that dude has an MBA from Wharton, too.

Some of those jokers claim that since the state legislatures approved different versions of the Amendment, it's not valid. Those differences include extremely minor punctuation issues and differing font face.

So he'll argue I filed Bankruptcy and the Feds and the state will point out he filed Chap 13 and will continue to pay taxes with penalties and interest. Then he'll say the penalties and interest are unconstitutional and should be removed. Then the Taxman says fark you pay me.

We had a good laugh over that, then I told him that I had actually met former Sen. Craig just a few days before the scandal broke...in the Spokane airport.

Most Tea party members don't pay federal income taxes anyway - Payroll Taxes and State Taxes maybe.

Not because they choose not to; it is because they don't make enough, take EIC or because they are on Disability/Social Security.
