Back in the mid 90's here in Arlington, TX there was a rehab facility called the THC Building, which never ceased to make me laugh. Anyway, I had a friend in HS who worked there, mostly as a candy striper, just doing crap work like hauling things around or emptying trash or whatever.

One Friday night they brought a guy in who was freaking out of his mind on PCP. He was strapped down to a gurney, with thick, huge leather straps. At some point he had had enough and pulled his hands right through the straps, removing most of the skin from his hands and forearms and proceeded to try and free the rest of himself.

My friend told me it took 6 people just to hold that guy down, despite his legs and midsection still being securely strapped in.

I have never seen anyone get in trouble from just smoking weed. The synthetic weed seems to make headlines quite a bit. Outlawing weed is harmful obviously.

I've been around drugs for a long time, but PCP is something that I've never encountered, never seen anyone on it, except on youtube. What in the hell does that drug do to you exactly? I know bath salts aren't exactly the same, but the hyperviolent, total disorientation seems similar. What in the hell is the upside of doing these things? Or is life just so shiatty that eating people's faces is a nice break from reality, literally.

Pot laws are what is dangerous about pot...doing the stuff that hasn't been tagged with a 20 year prison sentence is a safer bet (long term)

Yep, synthetic cannabinoids don't make you eat someones face off. PCP on the other hand... Saying it "may" be bath salts is just bullshiat propaganda. Not saying these synthetic drugs aren't dangerous mind you, but it should be fought in an honest manner.

Remember kids if you want to do a dissociate, do ketamine, not PCP! The dextromethorphan in Robotussen is also pretty safe as long as its the only active ingredient.

Bath salts is just what they are called because they can't be sold for human consumption. You can't actually use them as bath salt. Well, you could, but you wouldn't want to.

MDPV is it's own chemical, from what I have read, it is a speedy hallucinogen, it sounds more like PCP than acid from the extreme cases in the news, but I have never tried it so I cannot speak 1st hand.

It is marketed as "novelty bath salts" (*not for human consumption wink, wink, nod, nod) at head shops until they were banned in the UK and USA. However it is easy to order the stuff in bulk to be delivered to Mexico or Canada, or pretty much anywhere in continental Europe.

Why would they sell 'bath salts' there? For truckers to stay awake so they can haul loads for 72 straight hours?

I couldn't agree more. At least with pot you know what you are getting. Sure it can theoretically be laced with something but that's ALMOST unheard of. You take some random herbs sprayed with `something' in China, or a pill someone made, who the hell knows what you've got.

There was a teenager around here who was killed at a concert, well not really an overdose but dehydration as a result of a bad ecstasy pill. I believe they found it to contain PMA and possibly other chemicals, I don't remember exactly. If she had just smoked it up a bit, no doubt she would be alive today. Christ make MDMA legal, let Pfizer make it, at least then people will know what they are getting. Plus we could tax the shiat out of it. But no, reefer madness!

It's not particularly that cool. I had some crappy weed that was laced with it one time. Even thought the bud was crap, we smoked a lot of it to see the effects. It makes you feel like you're watching somebody else through your eyes. I washed the dishes and It felt like my hands did not belong to me. Weird, but not really that interesting or euphoric.

As far as Ketamine is concerned, I don't know that it's any safer. It's a matter of dosage. It doesent matter whether it's K, G, or PCP, if you take too much of a dissociative it will inhibit your ability to get up and move around for a while. Some people find this extremely frightening.

And for the love of God just stay away from Datura or anything in the nightshade family. Unless of course you *want* to have a waking nightmare.

Ketamine is far safer than PCP - mostly because the paralytic effects are immediate at higher doses. Good luck eating a face off when your limbs are completely immobile.
