In England. Funny thing is that the Chevy (due to importing and taxes) is probably more expensive then the Audi.

Well, that's going to depend heavily on which Audi and which Chevy.

Holy shiat, when did that happen?

At the 2004 Paris Motor Show, Chevrolet announced that it was relaunching the brand across Europe, basing its headquarters in Zurich, the largest city of founder, Louis Chevrolet's home country of Switzerland. By 2010 sales had risen from 295,000 units in 2005 to 500,000. This level of growth was in part due to the introduction of small and mid-sized cars built by GMDAT (GM Daewoo Auto & Technology). Chevrolet have recently announced plans to sell two of their most iconic cars, the Camaro and Corvette in Europe for the first time in 2011.

If I wanted a car made of plastic, I'd get a Hot Wheels car. The handling would be better with the Hot Wheels though.

Had to have a name for the Bluetooth connection. And next to the Tardis it's the hottest transport there is.

Well the hottest thing that will fit two carseats in the back that is.

Wife and I are expecting our 1st (congratuations, FARK. You're the first to know) and now I have to get rid of my Mini JCW for a SUV/crossover that can accomodate 2 goldens and a car seat. Needless to say I has a sad. Still have no idea which direction to go.

I've been driving an Audi Lite (VW Passat) since '99 and love it. At the time the A4 was too small.

I'd love to move up to an S4

Whooo!! Congrats!! My wife is due with our first in about a month. I know exactly what you're going through, but not going the SUV route just yet.

/Seeing your wife's belly move by itself is kind of freaky. You've been warned. Won't happen 'till about 34 weeks.

Well take the advice of a Dad of a seven and a three year old. The Q5 works really well. I could have more room but its a crossover so that's not shocking. I've never had a car. Being the size I am most cars were death traps for me. So I never had to give up my hot rod when the baby came. When we had our first (and I thought only) I was driving a Land Rover Discovery and we had a ton of room.

No footballer would care when the cheap and nasty interior would embarrass a Hyundai. If your going to pay £100,000 plus for a car it better look like you spent £100,000.

The footballers are all driving Lincoln Navigators now.

But, I agree that the inside is a biatchintzy on the 'vette. I am actually pretty much anti-vette in general. But, no one at GM ever thought they were competing with the DB9 in the luxury area when they drew up the ZR1. The results make that clear. The DB9 is beautifully appointed on the inside, and drop dead sexy on the outside. It is also a very capable performance car. The ZR1 is a two-seater, true sports car. It is kept simple (and cheap) inside so it maintains better accessibility among its long time fans. Its performance characteristics are earning it fans that it never had before, as well.

If you want to pull up to a fancy restaurant, get the DB9. If you want to pull away from the DB9, get the 'vette.

I'll throw one out there for you: Mazda Cx-5.

My dad just picked one up and I've driven it a few times. It's not fast by any measure (will go fast, just not accelerate quickly), but by god can that thing handle. And I say that being a guy who drives an Mx-5 on a daily basis. It handles well for a car, even though it's a crossover. On top of that it gets 31mpg with AWD and an auto. The one problem I have with it is in the US you can't get a stick and the AWD.

If you don't mind driving a not-overpowered-vehicle, it might be just what you're looking for. It's surprisingly roomy inside, doesn't look half bad either.

Tragically, that is not even a proper American car. It is a re-skinned Australian Holden. And for all its straight line performance it will still suck hairy dog's balls when it comes to handling.

It really is symbolic of America's decline that your corporations are even outsourcing the engineering of the classic American muscle car.

But if you read what people in this thread are saying, it's more than just the times. The real supercars not only post great times but the interiors are Farking beautiful. Camaros, mustangs, and vets all have super plasticy interiors to the point it's embarrassing. My Mini has 10 times a better interior than the American "supercars".
