Snapper Carr: Both parties will rape you. The Democrats at least buy you dinner and tell you you're pretty before the roofie kicks in.

Republicans just force you down, sodomize you, piss on you, call it "trickle down", then throw a couple dollars your way and pat themselves on the back for being job creators. Then, they tell you that you're an abomination because they just farked you in the ass and that makes you gay.

MyRandomName: You see, Conservatives don't go and hide and down vote articles they may disagree with. They don't fear opposing view points. Go to any website and you will see liberals flaming/down voting conservative point of views. You don't see that from the other side.

I was going to post this on Red State, But I got banned for not being anti-abortion. Then I was going to post it to Free Republic, but I got banned for not supporting birtherism. So I posted it at townhall, where I was called an Alinksyite due to the fact that I think maybe our tax rates are not insanely oppressive.

So fark you, liar.

StinkyFiddlewinks: Every time the party out of power sees a President campaign it's always "on tax payer dollars to move them around the country."

I'll admit, I hated it when Bush did it because Bush only won through cheating twice, and is a sniveling subservient-to-his-masters farkhole who should be taking orders at a liquor drive-through in Texas well into his 70's, but it is ridiculous.

Like any self respecting liquor store owner would trust that hump around their booze. Why not get Laura to teach driver's ed while you're at it?

slayer199: This was the best point of the article:

"And anyway, if the Democrats were really serious about hiking taxes on the wealthy, why didn't they do it when they had a filibuster-proof majority in Congress? Why wait until now, when there is no chance of passing anything like the Buffett Rule? "

Yes, why didn't they?

Blue. Dog. Democrats.

Fun fact: The GOP votes unaminously, the Dems don't. This is why there are actual politicians, so they can occasionally vote apart from their party.

BSABSVR: intelligent comment below: What's with every single known troll coming out of the wood work this week?

It's an election year. Every idiot who thinks politics is for queers and gomers is busting out their totally awesome alt accounts (that you are not allowed to reference or anger).

Imagine a GaryPDX calling everyone comrade forever. That will be the next 5+ months. 12 if Romney wins.

Best part?

Well, it is true that "both sides are bad", but I can't think of a situation where voting Republican would be the least harmful choice.
It's more of a "delay the inevitable" vote.

But, more disconcerning is what appears to be an ad for the current issue:
www.weeklystandard.com

These guys just discovered internet memes? Tron guys? Seriously? TRON GUY?

I'm no theologian.

But, could Jesus Christ make a mocking jerkoff motion so mocking that it would cause His Father the Lord to come in His (that is, Our Savior Jesus Christ's) face?

Because that's how big a mocking jerkoff motion our Blessed Savior is making in response to this jerkoff article.

I highly suggest those of you who just dismissed the article out of hand as just some right-wing hit piece give it a read.

It's not just any right-wing hit piece; it's a hilariously, pathetically desperate right-wing hit piece. One one the main pieces of "evidence" that the Democrats are anti-egalitarian it gives is Jim Crow legislation, for fark's sake. Later it claims that the Tea Party's goal is "cutting the big banks down to size", and that the Buffet Rule is a bad idea because it wouldn't raise revenues enough - a quick google shows Forbes estimates it'd bring in $162 billion a decade, apparently a trifling sum.

Mrtraveler01: MyRandomName: farkityfarker: You've got to admire the Republicans. They are very skilled at making poor people vote against their own interests.

Voting is not supposed to be about vote buying. Not everyone is bribed easily with their own money. When you grow up you will understand this point. Government wastes half it's time growing itself, not looking out for your interests. Just look at the number of federal regulations:

"According to the Office of the Federal Register, in 1998, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), the official listing of all regulations in effect, contained a total of 134,723 pages in 201 volumes that claimed 19 feet of shelf space."

Yes, that's completely sane government... it would only take a company half a decade to make sure they were in compliance.

Government exists to grow government. You are just easily bribed with your own cash. You could trim 20% of the executive without many noticeable effects. Hell, many departments blatantly contradict other departments.

Weren't you the one that was claiming that a business had to pay $10,000 for a permit to put in a shower but offered nothing to back it up?

Why should we take you seriously again?

He said government exists to grow government. That is enough to know that he would like to go back to a hunter-gatherer society and communicate in grunts.

MyRandomName: Conservatives do know what liberals think, at least better than liberals do conservatives. An actual liberal researcher found that. Have you not heard? Here you go.

All I ever needed to know about how conservatives think I learned from this.

tl;dr version: They believe whatever they're told to believe - whether by parents, religious leaders, politicians, talk radio hosts, or other authority figures they perceive as legitimate - and will viciously defend their Opinion Suppliers' beliefs against any attacks from heathens, liberals, or objective reality.
