It's as if he had a particularly violent bit of projectile diarrhea of words onto the page as his deadline came due.

Ironic that this was published on Yahoo!. I'm sure they'd like to go back to 2004 as well.

Article author clearly was looking for some way to distinguish his "busted RIM" story from everyone else's by tying in Motorola - and clearly isn't "up" on everything that Motorola has done and been through since 2004.

I don't want 2004 back. That year sucked for me.

Did their sales go up every time we went "code orange"?

"Yeah, I was talking but now I'm done, so, OHSNAP, I'm Audi."

I'm Audi? Seriously? How uncool can you be? The term is, "I'm outy." As in, "I'm out of here."

/What a total donkus.

Honest Bender: "Yeah, I was talking but now I'm done, so, OHSNAP, I'm Audi."

Where were you during the 80's?

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Audi%205000

An adjective desribing one or more people who intend on leaving a particular place. Audi's model 5000 sedan was plagued with a problem charcterized by unintended acceleration, in which drivers' complained that the vehicle lurched forward when their foot was on the brake pedal. In reality, it turned out that the acclerator and brake pedals were unusually close together. This is why Audi 5000 is associated with leaving quickly, because that is what this vehicle did when some old fartknocker hit the gas instead of the brakes.

I feel sorry for those with a RIM job.

I don't feel sorry for RIM. As a lifelong Apple owner (bought my first in 1992), I actually DIDN'T want an iPhone at first, because of the douchie smug factor. Unfortunately, even with its allegedly Apple compatible software, it would not talk with my MacBook without a fight. So now I've given in an have bought an iPhone and the expensive cell phone plans that go with it.

I still use my RAZR. I love it and don't want a different phone.

Phones are for calling people, not plinking around on an underpowered computer and squinting into a tiny screen.

/I like onions on my belt, too, though.

Did the author just stop typing? I kept looking around for the rest of the article.

/The razr was a sweet phone back in the day. Loved mine.

What in the hell was that article about?

Motorola did have some awesome unlocked phones. I liked their PEBL line of phones. It looked good and it just worked.

Article is poorly written and this is being generous.

Typing this on a PlayBook in the middle of nowhere. Great device; best bit of electronics I have ever bought.

I'm just gonna guess this is what happens when you write an op-ed piece at 4:30 AM after blowing lines and drinking all night.
